• Tax Accountant role for a locally owned tax and accounting firm based in George Town, Tasmania
• Prepare company and trust tax returns, FBT calculations, CGT event management, Division 7A loan compliance and structuring
• Mentor and collaborate with the client's offshore bookkeeping team and support BAS preparation and bookkeeping processes

• Oversee Month-End Reporting, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation across multiple entities and states.
• Manage cash flow analysis, annual budgeting, and drive financial accountability across departments.
• Oversee and ensure accuracy of accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, adhering to GAAP compliance.
• Lead multi-entity, multi-state payroll processing, and support Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions.
• Oversee tax compliance and filings, including multi-state income tax responsibilities.
• Support M&A activities: due diligence, integration planning, and financial analysis.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, implement process improvements, and create process documentation for finance functions.
• Contribute to long-term financial planning, strategy, and provide recommendations for growth and acquisitions.
