About the role
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into functional BI solutions.
- Integrate data from various sources such as SQL databases, Excel files, APIs, and cloud services.
- Create data models and DAX calculations to ensure accurate and meaningful visualizations.
- Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and usability of reports.
- Conduct data analysis to support strategic initiatives and provide actionable insights.
- Provide training and support to business users on Power BI tools and self-service capabilities.
- Stay current with Power BI and broader data visualization trends and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 2+ years of experience working with Power BI in a data analysis or business intelligence capacity.
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
- Strong experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance best practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) experience.
- Proficiency to deliver business insights and create data visualizations.
- Legal authorization to work in the Philippines (application asks this question).
