About the role
- Support the executive leadership team with comprehensive financial updates, forecasts, and insights to guide fiscal planning and growth.
- Oversee Month-End Reporting, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation across multiple entities and states.
- Manage cash flow analysis, annual budgeting, and drive financial accountability across departments.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, adhering to GAAP compliance.
- Lead multi-entity, multi-state payroll processing, and support Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions.
- Oversee tax compliance and filings, including multi-state income tax responsibilities.
- Support M&A activities: due diligence, integration planning, and financial analysis.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, implement process improvements, and create process documentation for finance functions.
- Contribute to long-term financial planning, strategy, and provide recommendations for growth and acquisitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity, multi-state payroll, tax filings, and compliance requirements, including experience with income tax.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation for multi-entity organizations.
- Familiarity with M&A processes and experience supporting due diligence and financial integration activities is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow high-performing teams.
- Experience working with professional services vendors (insurance, banking, tax advisors, etc.).
