About the role
- Support month-end closes, multi-entity reporting, reconciliations, and ensure GAAP compliance
- Review property budgets, support investor distributions and cash flow forecasts, and coordinate K-1/1099 tax filings
- Monitor lender, tax, and regulatory requirements; maintain audit-ready records; strengthen financial processes
- Oversee offshore bookkeeping vendors and supervise bookkeeping operations
- Provide high-level support to U.S. leadership and receive direct mentorship toward Full Controller responsibilities
- Hands-on financial oversight, bookkeeping supervision, and multi-entity financial operations
Requirements
- Active CPA license (PH or U.S.)
- 3+ years of U.S. real estate accounting/audit experience (multi-entity preferred)
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
- QuickBooks Online proficiency (certification a plus)
- Excellent English communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (modeling, vlookups, pivots, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a top university
- Familiarity with U.S. real estate finance systems (Yardi, AppFolio, Juniper Square) — bonus
- Prior exposure to investor reporting, tax coordination, or multi-entity structures — bonus
- Ability to balance technical accounting tasks with general support for senior leadership — bonus
