• Manage and mentor a growing team of high performing Sales Development Representatives, providing them the tools, coaching, and support needed to deliver results for the business
• Evolve Vanta’s prospecting playbook by developing and implementing new prospecting initiatives and strategies that will increase deal sizes, resolve complex use cases, and drive more revenue to the company

Sales Development Manager

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Renewal Specialists who manage a high volume of accounts in our early stage startup-focused segment.
• Set and enforce standards for operating rhythm, forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and customer communication.
• Own performance management for the team, including 1:1s, skill development, quarterly business reviews, and performance improvement plans as needed.
• Hire, onboard, and level-up future team members as the segment continues to scale.
• Own overall NRR & GDR, and on-time renewal rate for the <10 employee segment.
• Monitor segment retention trends and create strategic interventions that reduce churn and increase product adoption.
• Build playbooks that guide Specialists through proactive 270/90/30-day motions, expansion motion execution, mid-cycle changes, and risk mitigation.
• Partner with Revenue Leadership to set quarterly targets and ensure accuracy of team-wide forecasting.
• Establish a scalable renewal process that balances automation with high-touch engagement where required.
• Ensure the team executes all commercial workflows with accuracy, including quoting, contract adjustments, expansion motions, and exception requests.
• Partner with RevOps to streamline approval paths, improve system flows (SFDC, NUE), and remove friction for Specialists.

• Provide technical support to our customers through our available channels (email, screen sharing and chat) with timely responses and resolutions to their inquiries within the established SLAs

• Explain complex solutions in simplified terms to customers, while documenting solutions for scale

Security Engineer

• Design and build scalable infrastructure to support rapid growth in data volume, service usage, and engineering velocity
• Lead projects across our cloud infrastructure, including container orchestration (e.g., AWS Fargate, ECS), monitoring and alerting systems, networking, and database maintenance

Collections

• Lead cross-functional collections and accounts receivable initiatives as an individual contributor, improving cash conversion, reducing delinquency, and scaling the order-to-cash function.
• Design and implement improvements to collections workflows, dunning strategies, dispute resolution, and internal controls to support audit readiness and SOX compliance.
• Partner with Finance, RevOps, Sales, Customer Experience, and Business Systems on system enhancements, including automation, integrations, and ERP optimizations (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Stripe).
• Drive month-end and quarter-end AR readiness, ensuring accurate aging, reserves, and reporting to support close timelines and financial accuracy.
