Field Engineer

• Responsible for the Implementation of complex communication system infrastructure and technical support of specialized sub-systems and product applications.
• Troubleshoot software-driven electronics, IP networks, server and network hardware, and performance verification and optimization of RF and broadband architecture.
• Team with Systems Engineering, Project Management, and Sales personnel to effectively design, implement, optimize, test, cutover, and document advanced communication systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.
• Utilize system design drawings, planners, and product documentation to oversee the onsite installation of network, server, and RF equipment.

• Design and implement network solutions supporting NGCS infrastructure, including ESInet connectivity between PSAPs, carriers, and data centers
• Configure and support Layer 2/Layer 3 networking including BGP, OSPF, VRRP, QoS, ACLs, NAT, and DNS
• Support integration with carrier networks and third-party providers (OSP interconnects, backhaul, transport)

• Performs system configuration for all supported and assigned ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud-hosted application environments.
• Provides support to Customer and Channel Partners while deploying the ECH solution into a production environment.
