Loan Processor

• Provide quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation to underwrite the loan and orders third party documentation by communicating directly with the customer and/or Loan Officer.
• Review and analyze borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets as required by the loan program before submitting to underwriting.
• Assemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file.
• Complete the required loan checklist.
• Prepare a loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure the accuracy of all the information printed on the documents.
• Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information.
• Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times.
• Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log.

Reverse Loan Processor

• Providing quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation to underwrite the loan and orders third party documentation by communicating directly with the customer and/or Loan Officer
• Provides proper disclosures when required by applicable local, state, and federal regulations
• Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets as required by the loan program before submitting to underwriting
• Assemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting
• Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file
• Complete the required loan checklist
• Verify that an application is complete and accurate; identify any potential issues that may arise in underwriting
• Prepare a loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure the accuracy of all the information printed on the documents; communicate directly with the Loan Originator, customer, and Underwriter to obtain initial and any missing documentation required to qualify for the loan
• Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc.) and prepare required disclosures
• Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information
• Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times
• Assist set-up of loans
• Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log
• Train and assist supervision of new Loan Processors and other processing personnel
• Assist closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing to obtain and clear outstanding suspense items from CrossCountry Mortgage investors
• Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed

Underwriter

• Cover underwriter pipelines during planned and unplanned absences, including vacation, leave, and other time-off scenarios.
• Absorb overflow loan volume across multiple teams to ensure production targets and service level commitments are met.
• Review and update loan files upon return from closing for any changes, adjustments, or outstanding conditions requiring resolution.
• Identify and correct time-entry discrepancies and other issues in Workday in coordination with team managers.
• Operate as a floater across multiple underwriting teams, adapting quickly to varying pipelines, team structures, and lender overlays.
• Underwrite loans across all agency product types in compliance with applicable guidelines, investor requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with VP of Underwriting, team managers, and support staff regarding pipeline status and priority items.
• Uphold all quality standards and regulatory requirements consistent with the organization's underwriting practices.
• Work remotely with a reliable internet connection and maintain a professional home office environment.
• Maintain availability during standard business hours with flexibility for peak production periods and occasional overtime.

Strategic Underwriting Specialist

Team Lead

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the EHB staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to service level agreements.
• Provide guidance and resolution for escalated loan files and loan-level inquiries while managing workflow for Post-Closing Escrow Holdback processes.
• Assign and balance workflow, conduct employee performance evaluations, monitor timecards, and support overall team productivity and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve problems and support initiatives.
• Monitor and manage daily pipelines to optimize productivity, balance workloads, ensure service level agreements are met, and maintain compliance with CCM policies and loan approval requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between CCM branches, loan officers, clients, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure a thorough review of all required documents to support disbursements.
• Manage the loan disbursement process and provide guidance to Escrow Holdback Specialists.
• Monitor undeliverable loans and rate lock expiration dates to ensure extensions are requested and loans are re-locked.
• Manage and monitor Agency Close Outs of Escrow Holdbacks.
• Hold weekly meetings and perform monthly spot checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Coordinate with CCM Accounting for reconciliation regarding disbursement of funds.
• Manage employee timecard corrections, monitor and approve PTO requests.
• Complete and facilitate employee performance evaluations.
• Communicate any recommended updates or revisions to the Escrow Holdback Policies and Procedures to the Insuring and Escrow Holdback Manager.
• Communicate operational trends and recurring issues.
• Maintain a limited pipeline of loans to support workflow management and ensure balanced team coverage.
• Provide training and onboarding support to new employees.

Escrow Holdback Team Lead

Executive Assistant

• Supports the McCauley team of CrossCountry Mortgage in Dallas, TX.
• Responsible for managing the loan officers’ schedules and assists the Loan Processor.
• Manages the branch lead tracker and branch database.
• Maintains business rapport.
• Schedules all loan officer appointments, including new leads and additional appointments for the Branch Manager.
• Takes all incoming calls.
• Assists Loan Partner II with clerical tasks, such as copying and faxing documents.

• Provide legal guidance on identified compliance risks and issues to support mortgage origination compliance and operations
• Provide legal and compliance support for regulatory examination findings, regulatory or consumer complaints, and inquiries from stakeholders or counterparties, including conducting system-level research to support response preparation
• Assist with development of solutions related to regulatory findings identified through examination, testing, and monitoring, including root cause of issues and associated remediation
• Provide legal guidance on post-close suspense items to support timely clearing of conditions, reduce compliance-related delays, and help ensure investor delivery timelines are met
• Provide legal support to defects causing critical loan salability issues and coordinate cross-functionally to develop corrective actions
• Provide compliance legal support for use of technology in originations including the Company’s LOS, point of sale system, and proprietary technology solutions

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan application and documentation, which may include phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, overnighting documents, etc.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files and work to prevent problems by highlighting deficiencies and then notifying the mortgage loan officer and/or loan processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information, as necessary, via phone, email, etc.
• General clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors, as needed.
• Work with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
• Facilitate timely loan closings by working directly with the Title Company and customer to schedule.

Loan Officer Assistant

• Communicate with various companies to obtain vendor information including, but not limited to, verification of employment, title commitment, and payoff information
• Verify vendor orders are completed and returned, and invoices are received and documented
• Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, income and assets as required by loan program before submitting the file to underwriting
• Obtain a complete loan package before submitting to underwriting
• Verify all required documentation in the file is complete and accurate and identifies any potential issues that may arise before submitting to underwriting
• Prepare a loan approval summary for missing documentation before submitting to underwriting for Loan Officer/Branch Manager to review
• Transfer a completely documented file to the underwriter to be approved or denied
• Directly communicate with customers to obtain missing documentation required for the loan
• Consistently manage a pipeline of 40 active loans and fund a minimum of 27 units per month
• Manage pipeline within allotted turn times, prioritizing loans based on the department’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and estimated close dates
• Participate in branch pipeline calls, as necessary
• Complete all training classes assigned by CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC before the due date
• Review loans for compliance within RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc. (all mortgage related regulations)
