Pre-Approval Manager

Compliance

• Ensure the Compliance Department’s Case Management operates efficiently by setting forth standards and processes to provide excellent customer service
• Conduct in-depth analysis of trends to identify emerging risks or needs within the Company
• Proactively work to identify solutions to address emerging risks and needs (e.g., system enhancement, coaching/training, prescriptive SOP’s)
• Act as the primary point-of-escalation for the Compliance Support function, collaborating with a variety of staff to solve complex scenarios
• Apply in-depth knowledge of Encompass and Mavent controls to comply with various regulatory requirements (e.g., ATR/QM, High-Cost calculations, APR)
• Partner with other departments to assist with company-wide integrations (e.g., new credit vendor)
• Oversee the collection, preparation, and finalization of materials presented in the quarterly Compliance Committee meeting
• Actively participate in examinations, monitoring/testing, audit, and consumer complaint processes by crafting narratives, drafting rebuttals, and conducting root cause analysis of any errors identified
• Cross-collaborate with key stakeholders in other departments, cultivating productive partnerships to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Manage various Compliance staff, ensuring support is provided while also setting forth and enforcing clearly defined standards, goals, and objectives

Director, Compliance

Analyst

• Serve as a subject matter expert in HMDA data management and compliance
• Provide advanced support in analysis, testing, and regulatory reporting
• Contribute to process development and lead compliance reviews
• Act as mentor and resource to junior team members
• Conduct root cause analysis and remediate emerging risks impacting HMDA compliance

Loan Partner

Sales

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan application and documentation, which may include phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, overnighting documents, etc.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files and work to prevent problems by highlighting deficiencies and then notifying the mortgage loan officer and/or loan processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information, as necessary, via phone, email, etc.
• General clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors, as needed.
• Work with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
• Facilitate timely loan closings by working directly with the Title Company and customer to schedule.
