• Lead a cross-functional squad composed of engineers, data scientists, data analysts and specialists from areas across tech and business teams.
• Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies and new products in AI safety, risk and governance, engaging with external researchers, peer organisations, technology partners and internal communities across data science, model risk and AI governance to identify emerging risks and practical approaches to safe adoption.
• Use your software delivery, data science, AI governance or NLP background to deeply understand customer needs, model behaviours, data considerations and the practical controls required for safe Gen AI delivery.
• Prioritise the crew backlog by balancing business partner demands, customer outcomes, risk profile and long-term sustainability of your products and services.
• Engage with risk teams to understand the frameworks and policies that guide the safe use of AI within the Group, and facilitate solutions that build resilience, model monitoring, evaluation, guardrails and assurance into the platform.
