Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Relationship Managers and Transaction Banking specialists to own, support and grow a portfolio of diversified institutional clients
  • Develop trusted relationships with Treasury leaders and C-suite stakeholders
  • Provide market insights and strategic advice supporting client decision-making
  • Identify, originate and convert opportunities across working capital, cash management, payments and broader transaction banking solutions
  • Analyse client businesses, operating models and financial performance to uncover value-creation opportunities
  • Contribute to client strategy development and engagement planning
  • Lead or support deal teams delivering tailored, client-centric banking solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver client outcomes
  • Support clients through payment ecosystem changes, treasury innovation and digital transformation initiatives
  • Structure, negotiate and execute transaction banking opportunities
  • Ensure activities comply with risk, compliance and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong foundation within institutional or corporate banking, investment banking, transaction banking, treasury or cash management, debt advisory or related financial services environments
  • Strong knowledge of transaction banking, working capital, cash management and payments solutions
  • Understanding of industry sectors and key drivers impacting corporate clients
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, identify new business opportunities and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue growth
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and driving proactive client engagement activity to deepen relationships and expand wallet share
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and building credibility with executive-level decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and deliver commercial outcomes
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills with a proactive, organised and client-focused approach
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
