• Support Account Managers in the sales, onboarding, and ongoing success of host organizations participating in CIEE internship and training programs.
• Manage a portfolio of assigned host organizations, maintaining regular communication, providing program guidance, and supporting host engagement and retention efforts.
• Support the sales team with the CIEE Internship Posting Platform, including job posting creation, auditing of roles, updates, host training, troubleshooting, and user support, as needed.
• Become an expert on host organization and position compliance reviews to ensure alignment with program regulations, quality standards, and participant experience goals.
• Provide Salesforce and internal systems support to Account Managers, including account setup, data management, reporting, workflow coordination, and record maintenance.
• Research and identify prospective host organizations within targeted industries and regions to support business development and account growth initiatives.
• Monitor onboarding pipelines and proactively address issues, ensuring hosts are prepared to interview, hire, and successfully welcome participants.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives that enhance host satisfaction, operational efficiency, and program growth.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation across Salesforce and internal systems to support reporting, compliance, and account management objectives.
• Assist with reviewing participant applications in Beacon to ensure eligibility requirements are met and applications are complete and ready for processing.
• Support training plan review and approval workflows, working closely with host organizations to facilitate timely submissions and successful progression through onboarding and placement processes.

Host Sales Coordinator

Advisor

• Meet or exceed enrollment targets by maximising the conversion of applicants to paid participants during the application review and pre-departure process for a specific CIEE program region.
• Review applications for admission efficiently and administer admission decisions to CIEE programs for a specific program region.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of each CIEE program and location and proactively discuss components (academics, housing, etc.) of each with applicants.
• Develop and execute strategies to fully prepare students for their onsite experience and to improve student conversion.
• Initiate regular, proactive, and timely contact with applicants, participants, parents, and institutional study abroad advisors throughout the pre-departure process with the goal of improving student conversion.
• Advise students on complex visa and immigration processes; liaise with foreign consulates; keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations relating to immigration across portfolio sites.
• Provide support for Group Visa processes and other large-scale visa-related projects as needed.
• Manage the editing process for pre-departure materials, visa instructions, and other information in collaboration with CIEE onsite staff.
• Address and resolve all levels of escalated situations and emergencies that arise during the pre-departure process, exercising professional discretion.
• Manage enrollment database, including maintenance of student application information and processing application documents (e.g., transcripts), which includes the scanning, uploading, and filing of materials.
• Collaborate with Institutional Relations, Admissions, Study Marketing, and Global Operations to contribute to program efforts in recruitment, marketing, and program development for the region.
• Serve as back-up contact when other advisors are out of the office.
• Provide superior student-centered customer service throughout the pre-departure process.
• At all times, exercise good professional judgment and consideration in promptly addressing problems and questions that arise with students, parents, and CIEE staff.
• Represent CIEE with integrity, accuracy, and in the spirit of its mission.

Enrollment Advisor

General Counsel

• Serve as the chief legal advisor to the President and CEO and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to CIEE executive leadership and organizational stakeholders.
• Advise on legal matters affecting domestic and international operations, including nonprofit governance, employment, regulatory compliance, contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, international activities, and risk management.
• Provide legal support for strategic initiatives, partnerships, acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and new business opportunities.
• Oversee litigation, claims management, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
• Manage the legal department budget and relationships with external legal counsel to ensure cost-effective delivery of legal services.
• Monitor and anticipate emerging legal and regulatory developments affecting higher education, international education, nonprofit organizations, international exchange programs, data privacy, and global operations.
• As Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors, support board operations, including meeting planning and attendance, oversight of governance records and structures, policies, and official corporate actions as well as related committee work.

• Manage team of Digital Marketing Producers and Email Automation to ensure upward movement and efficiencies in budget and campaign production.
• Manage the development and execution of all in-house digital marketing campaigns for CIEE programs.
• Lead discovery sessions, identify client requirements, and architect marketing automation strategies.
• Make recommendations to business units and senior leadership on goals, outcomes and projections for campaign development and budget requests.
• Design and implement advanced nurture programs, lead scoring models, lead lifecycle programs and complex automation workflows.
• Own analytical review of multi-channel marketing effectiveness, conversion tracking, and ROI — translating data into mid and senior level reports and actionable recommendations for campaign optimization.

Senior Director of Digital Marketing

Recruitment

• Coordinate and facilitate candidate interviews for virtual and in person hiring events.
• Manage candidate rosters in Excel and create reports for each event.
• Assist with the planning, scheduling, and execution of hiring events and recruitment initiatives.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for host organizations regarding interview scheduling, event logistics, and recruitment timelines.
• Perform initial participant interviews, as needed.
• Communicate interview outcomes and next steps to participants in a timely and professional manner.
• Collect, track, and report visa appointment updates and outcomes, providing regular status updates to host organizations.
• Monitor and manage the shared inbox, ensuring prompt responses and follow up on inquiries.

• Maintain and update the CIEE Beacon hiring event grid, tracking interview activity, host selections, and placement outcomes.
• Support training plan processes, including kickoff coordination, cloning, workflow management, participant reminders, and pipeline tracking.
• Communicate regularly with international agency partners regarding candidate status, event participation, placement updates, and program requirements.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and data management across recruitment and placement systems.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline hiring event operations and improve participant and host experiences.

Events Coordinator, Internship Placements

Program Coordinator

• Coordinate recruitment in partnership with the Program Leader Network Manager and International Staff; manage applicant communications, schedule interviews, support candidate screening and selection processes, and collaborate with Human Resources to facilitate onboarding and hiring.
• Coordinate onboarding communications and resources for newly hired Program Leaders; maintain and update Canvas training courses, coordinate virtual training sessions, and confirm completion to ensure Program Leaders are prepared for program delivery.
• Coordinate Program Leader and chaperone travel logistics, flight arrangements, and travel communications.
• Maintain regular communications with current and former Program Leaders through engagement initiatives; support referral programs, alumni outreach, recognition efforts, and community-building activities that strengthen the Program Leader network.
• Partner with Sales and other internal stakeholders to support student recruitment initiatives, Program Leader referrals, educator outreach, and successful program delivery through effective communication and coordination.
• Support Program Leader evaluation processes by administering surveys, compiling feedback, maintaining performance records, and assisting with data collection and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate Program Leader, applicant, and alumni records within Salesforce and other systems; prepare reports, track recruitment, training, staffing, and engagement metrics, support documentation and workflow improvements, and ensure data integrity across Program Leader operations.
• Participate in annual in-person trainings and ongoing professional development; provide operational support during travel weekends in the summer and peak program periods, including occasional evening, weekend, and travel responsibilities as needed; perform other duties as assigned.

Program Leader, Network Coordinator – High School Study Abroad

General

• Lead and motivate Local Coordinators to make timely, high-quality placements and meet target placements within the assigned region.
• Coordinate Local Coordinators and their schools when needed regarding student registration or enrollment.
• Distribute student profiles to Local Coordinators as needed.
• Train Local Coordinators to become as self-sufficient as possible using the resources provided to them.
• Meet and/or exceed assigned target for student placements within established deadlines.
• Use the resources provided to guide strategy for Local Coordinators in recruiting host families and guide LCs through creative outreach and marketing.
• Oversee student and host family matching process in a designated region.
• Ensure Local Coordinators have the necessary marketing materials.
• Maintain and develop new high school relationships.
• Provide Local Coordinators with host family recruitment tools, resources, and ongoing support and guidance through placements of students.
• In collaboration with the Program Support Specialist, co-manage, lead, guide, mentor, and coach the Local Coordinators of the region.
• Work closely with the Program Support Specialist to ensure all requirements and paperwork are compliant for placements.
• Collaborate with the Training Manager to ensure Local Coordinators are fully trained and communicate areas of need as they arise.

Regional Placement Coordinator

• Manage and develop five Sales Managers as your direct reports.
• Set clear expectations, give consistent feedback, and run regular 1:1s that move people towards sales goals.
• Support and monitor the management of Sales Coordinators, coaching your Sales Managers to hold their own direct reports accountable, and stepping in directly when a territory needs it.

Associate Director of Sales – High School Study Abroad

Manager

• Manage all systems and processes related to recruitment, training, and monitoring of Ambassadors.
• Develop a recruitment, onboarding, training, and sales and marketing plan to meet annual ambassador recruitment and referral goals.
• Train internal sales and marketing teams on all aspects of the ambassador program.
• Recruit Ambassadors throughout the year to be on-program content creators, and/or student-facing campus ambassadors upon return.
• Coordinate across all College Study Abroad teams, global operations teams, and other internal CIEE stakeholders to ensure the communications, systems and processes are aligned to support all efforts related to the ambassador program.
• Manage and measure success of both individual student ambassadors as well as the program and cohorts overall, creating and sharing clear metrics to keep ambassadors engaged and on track, as well as to report out internally.
• Pilot and test new outreach tactics and strategies to improve ambassador outreach and engagement and share outcomes.
• Identify internal business needs and recommend specific solutions to new or changing customer needs.

Manager, Ambassador Programs

Account Manager

• Manage CIEE’s current relationships with study abroad staff, faculty, and other administrators at partner institutions with the goal of increasing enrollments and overall revenue at those institutions.
• Strategize with institutional partners to increase enrollment of students in study abroad programs.
• Develop and sustain new relationships with Study Abroad Office staff, faculty, and other institution administrators in your portfolio.
• Collaborate with study abroad partners to expand CIEE’s brand presence and working relationships with all institutional influencers and stakeholders outside of the study abroad office.
• Strategize with institutions to increase and diversify study abroad participation.
• Function as primary CIEE contact for all institutions in the portfolio using regular phone, email, and in-person interaction.
• Create and host student-facing activities, faculty meetings, staff trainings, and other outreach activities as assigned.
• Represent CIEE at study abroad events, pre-departure orientations, and other institutional engagements throughout the portfolio.
• Strategize with the Assistant Director, Institutional Relations to plan and implement an annual strategy for achieving goals.
• Collaborate with various internal departments to leverage their expertise for customer support and sales calls with key institutions.
• Represent CIEE at national and regional professional conferences including NAFSA, Forum, and CIEE’s annual conferences.
• Maintain detailed records of all activities related to institutions in the designated portfolio and manage institutional profiles in CRM (SalesForce).
• Develop fluency with data visualisation software in driving evidence-based partner support, strategy, and decision-making.
• Provide input on marketing strategies for institutions in the assigned portfolio and conduct market research, as necessary.
• Manage personal travel budget appropriately.
• Hours may be uneven and fall outside of the typical 9-5 range.
• Extensive seasonal travel may be required - as much as 2-4 days/week, during two separate 2-3 month periods aligning with the Fall and Spring college semesters.
• Roughly 95% of travel is domestic, 5% is international.
• Meet individual and team goals for enrollments and approved programs.
• Other goals will be assigned. These goals are both seasonal and annual. Goals and targets are evaluated and adjusted on a routine basis. Other duties as assigned.

Manager, US Institutional Relations

Admissions Advisor

• Serve as an admissions expert for students advising them on appropriate programs based on their studies and interests.
• Manage large volume of emails, texts and outbound calls, address questions, solve problems and/or direct people to the appropriate CIEE team member.
• Respond to inbound inquiries within a 24-hour response time.
• Schedule prompt follow-up with prospective students to provide support and determine the level of commitment, and execute strategies to inform students about CIEE programs at all phases of the inquiry and application process.
• Organise and host information sessions, webinars, tabling events, and classroom presentations to raise awareness about CIEE programs.
• Work with Institutional Relations Managers to provide support directly to partner institutions and develop strategies to better serve their students.
• Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets (i.e., completed applications and conversion of those applications) set by leadership.
• Support on-campus student engagement opportunities as directed by your Manager.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on product and/or company updates.
• Upsell/cross-sell of products and services when opportunity arises (e.g., internships).
• Document call information and input data into company CRM to keep customer records updated.

Program Manager

• Manage an active pipeline of custom program opportunities to meet annual sales goals.
• Collaborate with the Institutional Relations team to generate new program leads and secure new institutional partnerships.
• Build relationships with partners by understanding their needs and objectives and delivering strong customer service.
• Collaborate with international teams to draft program budgets, create program proposals, and write contracts.
• Manage the pre-departure planning and preparation process with partners and CIEE staff.
• Engage in CIEE and industry conferences and events to sell and promote CIEE’s Custom Programs.
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of Custom Programs.

Program Manager – Custom Programs

• Territory Ownership and Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of school influencers and advocates—including educators, administrators, counselors, parents and guardians, alumni, and community stakeholders across an assigned portfolio of partner schools—to strengthen CIEE's presence and impact.
• Collaborate with school partners to increase awareness of study abroad opportunities, diversify participation, and integrate global education into the broader school community.
• Strategic Planning and Growth: Develop and execute strategic partnership plans that increase student participation in CIEE programs and align study abroad opportunities with each school's goals, priorities, and student needs.
• Meet or exceed team enrollment goals, partnership objectives, and other key performance metrics established throughout the year.
• Collaborate with CIEE teams such as marketing and philanthropy to identify school-specific areas for growth.
• Sales Leadership and Pipeline Management: Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports (Enrollment Coordinators) to oversee the student sales process from lead generation to student travel.
• Maximize conversions through close communication and teamwork.
• Presentations and Events: Deliver engaging presentations to students, parents, and administrators, both virtually and in-person.
• Travel within your region during the enrollment season to represent CIEE at conferences, pre-departure orientations, and regional or national professional gatherings.
• Manage travel and engagement budgets responsibly while maintaining a strong presence within assigned schools and regions.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze enrollment trends, school engagement data, and market opportunities to inform partnership strategies, identify areas for growth, and support data-driven decision-making.

Manager, Strategic Accounts – High School Study Abroad

• Act as the general manager of a dedicated sales territory(Manhattan, Bronx, Westchester & Putnam Counties, and Connecticut).
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed student enrollment goals.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including principals, teachers, counselors, and alumni, to establish CIEE as the premier partner for global education.
• Actively prospect and conduct high-volume outreach to new schools to build a sustainable pipeline.
• Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports (Enrollment Coordinators) to oversee the student sales process, from lead generation to student travel.
• Deliver engaging presentations to students, parents, and administrators, both virtually and in-person.
• Take ownership of the entire student enrollment pipeline.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and school relationship statuses in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).

School Partnerships and Outreach Manager – HS Study Abroad

• Communicate the Value of Study Abroad – Inspire and educate U.S. high school students and their legal guardians about the life-changing benefits of studying abroad.
• Engage and Motivate Applicants – Follow a structured sales outreach process to proactively connect with students and families via phone, text, and email, focusing on converting leads to open applications.
• Guide Students Through the Application Process – Provide coaching and support throughout the scholarship and application journey, helping families navigate barriers to participation.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service – Offer professional and timely assistance to students and parents from initial inquiry through program acceptance, confirmation, and pre-departure preparation.
• Manage a High Call Volume – Consistently exceed 30 calls per day (resulting in over 500 minutes of talk time per week), adjusting outreach focus based on application volume spikes and highest-potential territories.
• Host Virtual Webinars – Lead large-group presentations for students and parents, including some evening sessions.
• Present at In-Person Events – Visit high schools to connect with students and families, requiring occasional domestic travel.
• Applications Review and Acceptance – Review applications for eligibility, approve acceptances, and convert applicants into confirmed, paid participants.
• Oversee Participant Financials – Ensure accurate financial records, follow up on payments, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Utilise Salesforce for Pipeline Management – Track and manage applicants, maintain accurate communication records, and work toward enrollment goals in our CRM system Salesforce.
• Provide Summer Program Support – Assist participants while they are on-program.
• Support Recruitment Efforts – Travel domestically as needed to promote programs and represent the organisation at school events.
• Chaperone International Student Flights – Accompany student groups on flights up to once per year.
• Participate in Ongoing Training – Engage in sales and professional development sessions to improve effectiveness and professional growth.
• Adapt to a Flexible Work Schedule – Some evening hours are required to accommodate students and guardians.
• Provide Emergency Travel Support – Be available for 1–2 travel weekends per year to assist with urgent situations.
• Demonstrate High Flexibility – This role does not have assigned territories and requires adaptability to support different regions and team needs as priorities shift.
• Cover Pipeline Management – Step in when other Coordinators are at in-school presentations or on PTO to ensure no loss of outreach.
• Support Seasonal Employees – Monitor sales calls and provide coaching to improve the effectiveness of seasonal staff.
