• Lead and create sustainable business development and delivery capabilities for the sector
• Establish industry leadership for Brown and Caldwell services among the food & beverage sector
• Develop personal relationships with target client’s key personnel, and in areas of sector growth
• Maintain exceptional client relationships while navigating and aligning the client’s organization with BC’s team of experts and resources
• Serve as a key leader in client organization associations, and professional engineering circles
• Lead and contribute to the firm’s marketing, sales and overall business success
• Establish personal relationships with competitors, particularly in those areas of sector growth
• Ensure successful and profitable delivery of projects partnering with internal project, design, and risk management teams, along with other enterprise groups
• Participate in base business, growth, sales and planning processes
• Build and sustain a collaborative culture and environment that truly demonstrates client service, technology, innovation, professionalism, and teamwork
• Assist in recruiting staff to maintain growth – this includes identification of key performers who will help increase capabilities to correlate with the market
• Advise on career development of staff - identify high potential performers/leaders
• Provide technical oversight and support on environmental projects
• Assist with contract negotiations
• Participate in key conferences and/or trade shows

Client Service Manager – Food & Beverage

• Serve as a project task manager, or perform as lead discipline (electrical and I&C) engineer on projects as appropriate
• Scope and budget projects, identify method of project execution, and coordinate staff assignments
• Successfully manage and execute electrical designs to be on time and on budget using company systems and tools
• Support business opportunities and assist in sales and marketing efforts (proposal preparation, interviewing, scope, fee, etc.)
• Mentor other electrical and I&C engineers and designers
• Perform contractor construction submittal reviews

Senior Electrical Engineer

Engineer

• Serve as Technical Planning Lead on a variety of studies and planning projects.
• Be a direct line for the Project or Program Manager into all aspects of technical analysis.
• Guide technical strategy across diverse analyses to ensure conformity of assumptions and support of overall project goals.
• Understand and communicate technical analyses to non-technical project and client staff using various engagement tools (presentations, briefing materials, graphics, technical reports and memos).
• Lead utility planning projects as a Project Manager.
• Serve as PM for individual studies and analyses to create efficient and streamlined teams by being both the PM and the Technical Planning Lead.
• Support alternatives analysis and conveyance design projects as a technical lead.
• Develop design criteria and guide client decision making.
• Engage deeply with the key project success criteria to inform the technical approach of alternatives development.
• Drive H/H modeling and collection system planning success.
• Engage in scope and fee development, set standards for delivery and QA/QC, guide project-based modeling plans, mentor modeling and planning staff in delivery and client engagement.
• Prepare reports, planning documents, preliminary designs, and cost estimates for various multi-disciplinary planning and design projects.
