About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carry out regulatory gap analysis under supervision.
Assist in strategic permit planning.
Help with permit application preparation.
Participate in multi-media environmental audits and assessments.
Contribute to compliance support and reporting tasks.
Support agency negotiations under the guidance of experienced personnel.

Requirements

What you’ll need

0-2 years of related work experience in compliance & permitting or related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience is required.
Encouraged to certify in the SMS Framework in the first six months of being in this role.
History of supporting Phase I ESA Due Diligence projects is preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, Word and basic computer skills required.
Basic GIS skills a plus.
Permitting and compliance experience preferred with knowledge of local, state and federal environmental regulations.
