• Support utility planning projects related to water, wastewater, stormwater, and flood resilience
• Conduct technical and policy research, data analysis, and infrastructure assessments
• Assist with capital improvement planning and long-range infrastructure strategy development
• Support development of nature-based solutions and green infrastructure programs
• Contribute to watershed planning, climate resilience, and integrated utility planning efforts
• Prepare technical memoranda, presentations, maps, graphics, and planning documents
• Coordinate with engineers, planners, public agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Participate in stakeholder engagement, workshops, and public-facing planning processes
• Support program development, funding strategy, and implementation planning initiatives
• Track emerging trends, policies, and best practices in utility planning and resilience

Utility Planner

• Own deployment and allocation planning across multiple distribution centers, co-packers and warehouses to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time
• Translate supply plans and customer forecasts into actionable deployment plans
• Monitor and respond to supply/demand imbalances, short-dated inventory, and network constraints
• Optimize inventory levels across sites to achieve target service levels and minimize obsolescence or overstock
• Collaborate closely with demand planners, production planners, logistics, customer service, and warehouse operations
• Manage allocation logic for constrained supply scenarios and communicate effectively with sales and customer service teams
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network flow, reduce costs, and improve agility
• Maintain master data related to deployment rules, lead times, and transit lanes. Analyze KPIs such as fill rate, inventory turns, deployment adherence, and in-stock metrics

Temporary Deployment Planner

• Actively seek to further the state of the art within our industry and develop innovative solutions and responses as the needs of researchers evolve.
• Effectively collaborate with a project team to provide technical expertise in the programming and planning for projects.
• Participate in user group meetings to collect and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
• Communicate planning concepts to project teams and owners, verbally and through graphic and written reports and work effectively with architectural designers to optimize plans that further owners’ goals and objectives.
• Translate planning concepts into comprehensible terms for clients, designers and project team members.
• Contribute to the development, modification and/or review of planning concepts and solutions.
• Assist in development of architectural drawings and specifications to translate planning concepts into project documentation for construction.
• Assist in developing project scope, plan, and services during the contract process.
• Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• Maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential clients.
• May provide guidance and advice to other designers and project leaders.

Health Planner III

• Manage pricing analytics, forecasting average sales prices and discounting levels by product group, geography, and sales segment to provide a bridge between unit forecasts and revenue targets.
• Generate and own financial cost reporting metrics such as hardware cash flow, projected spend, warranty expense, and excess & obsolescence risk in partnership with finance and accounting teams.
• Synthesize data into actionable narratives and present findings to senior leadership across Operations, Finance, Sales, and Product.
• Analyze customer and sales trends within product families, identifying areas of opportunity to drive revenue and margin improvement.
• Use technical expertise to efficiently gather new data, automate data processing, and implement tools and best practices for data management.
• Provide access to data & KPIs to rest of planning team using reports and dashboards, implementing business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker) for data visualization and analytics.
• Establish a deep understanding of Samsara’s business, products, and company priorities to assist Demand Planners with insights on new programs / features, sales pacing, and conversion rates. Drive improvements to the forecasting process by developing rigorous analyses using historical data and in-depth knowledge of the business, changing the forecast model to meet business needs as required.
• Identify key insights/trends driving company hardware cost; share findings with key stakeholders to identify areas of continued improvement to company growth and profitability.
