About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create department, class, and style-color level plans by channel and country, owning top-down planning guidance
  • Develop strategic weekly sales plans that roll up to monthly and seasonal plans while supporting Go-to-Market strategies
  • Analyze historical performance and current business trends to identify risks and opportunities across categories and classes
  • Ensure alignment and reconciliation between top-down financial targets and bottom-up merchandise plans
  • Partner with Merchants to understand financial objectives, develop line and Go-to-Market stories, and influence assortment decisions through data-driven insights
  • Lead long-range budgeting and reforecasting processes
  • Drive pre-season and in-season middle-out reconciliation to achieve financial and inventory targets
  • Partner with and influence cross-functional teams to develop strategies supporting business performance and financial goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2–3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, merchandise financial planning, inventory management, or retail analytics
  • Ability to analyze complex data, forecast business performance, and develop actionable insights
  • Strong understanding of retail math, inventory management, financial reporting, and forecasting methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive alignment
  • Proficiency in planning systems, data analysis tools, and advanced Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must reside in one of the approved states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington
