Worldwide Flight Services (WFS)

Operator

• Track and monitor potential or actual safety and security events around the Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) operation.
• Monitor all accessible CCTV Systems across North American WFS network from the centrally located SOC located and John F Kennedy International Airport.
• Monitor multiple CCTV displays for suspicious, unusual, or hazardous activities.
• Ensure all appropriate actions and notification(s) are completed to mitigate any observed security and/or safety incidents to execute emergency SOC protocols as appropriate.
• Document detailed records, logs and all required written reports as indicated in the SOC Standard Operating Procedures of activities as they occur during the shift and effectively report all appropriate emergency and non-emergency situations in real-time to the SOC Leader.
• Monitor both domestic and worldwide security events that could impact WFS operations.
• Work with Security team in establishing severity rating and updates PULSE.
• Update PULSE record accordingly and ensure notification is sent.

CCTV Specialist Operator

Associate

• Load and unload Express packages from air freight containers to and from semi-trucks in a widely dispersed area.
• Sorting, scanning and movement of small packages within the warehouse.
• Buildup / Breakdown package containers ready for outbound/inbound flights.
• Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading.
• Operate air freight handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts).
• Weighing, labeling, or make/break-down of gaylords or air freight containers.
• Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines.
• Report to position on time, as scheduled, including mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Successfully complete required computer based and on the job trainings.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Perform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policies.
• Work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and noxious fumes.

Air Logistics Warehouse Associate

Agent

• The work of AMPW Office Agent Cargo includes computer data entry; prepares all flight documents; interfaces with U.S. Customs; prepares all import and export documentation, and accepts/distributes cargo in accordance with applicable air carrier and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Complies lists of customers for use as sales leads.
• Solicits orders or talks with customers to complete sales.
• Quotes prices and terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company’s delivery schedules.
• Moves cargo up to 70lbs.
• Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations.
• Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.

Air Cargo Union Office Agent

Clerk

• Load and unload aircraft of cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. in and out of aircraft within confined cargo areas, push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs. on rollers with/to aircraft.
• Driving vehicles with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs. in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles and equipment as well as positioning vehicle up to aircraft requiring depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors, red, green, and yellow.
• Engage in push-out of aircraft driving 80,000 lb. vehicle or assist by providing guide function to driver using depth perception in congested areas or speaking to cockpit during push-back procedure.
• Transport cargo to and from aircraft driving 3,000 lb. vehicle using depth perception to negotiate vehicle with attached carts through congested area.
• Read "off-load" sheets to determine destination of cargo.
• While performing aircraft push-out and/or towing functions, engage in proper specific ground to cockpit communication via hand signals and voice commands, with and without, the assistance of sight or visual aids.
• Ability to successfully communicate with others.
• Ability to work in a high-noise level environment.
• Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids.
• Pull, push, and lift bags weighing up to 70 lbs. onto or from a conveyor belt.
• Pull water hose from stationary cabinet and connect to aircraft.
• Lift, connect overhead and remove overhead, 40 lb. KVA electric cable to/from aircraft.
• De-ice aircraft at heights of up to 20 - 80 ft. lifting and holding nose, spray exterior of wings and fuselage with glycol.
• Ability to judge distances.
• Ability to confront and question unauthorized personnel in secured areas, and report their presence to authorities as necessary.
• Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.

Air Cargo Ramp Clerk – Warehouse

Supervisor

• Supervise passenger service agents during check-in, boarding, baggage handling and arrival processes
• Ensure compliance with airline procedure, TSA regulations, and safety protocols
• Provide on-the-spot coaching and support to agents to ensure service standards are met

• Loading and unloading of cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material) on and off aircraft.
• The transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft.
• The ramp transfers of cargo where required.
• The receiving, delivering, and physical handling of freight and company material.
• Compliance with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations.
• Reporting security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan.

Air Cargo Ramp Clerk

• The work of a Ramp/Warehouse Agent includes the following: loading and unloading of cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material) on and off aircraft; the transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft; the ramp transfers of cargo where required; the receiving, delivering, and physical handling of freight and company material, export at the designated express docks, mail and baggage in the outbound baggage room;
• The cleaning and servicing of cabin interiors, including cockpit and lavatories; draining lavatories; checking, handling, assembling, removing and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies. Transporting such furnishings and supplies to and from aircraft.
• Assisting in loading, unloading and racking both filled and empty drums.
• In addition, de-icing aircraft, clear aircraft windshields, pushout/two aircraft and related guide man functions; connect/remove ground power and ground start units.
• May be required to clean the exterior of aircraft with specialized cleaning fluids. May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment.
• Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations.

Air Cargo Ramp Agent

• Responsible for moving air cargo within designated warehouse.
• Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers.
• Build up cargo for outbound flights.
• Break down cargo from import flights.
• Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks.
• May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks.
• Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo.
• Confirm Dangerous Goods (DG) have been checked within aircraft limits and Follow specific procedure for DG shipments when received, including when shipment is abandoned by consignee.
• Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without assistance of sight or visual aids.

Air Cargo Warehouse Agent

• The work of a Baggage System Operator (BSO) classification, depending on assignment, includes any or all the following: entering the baggage system to free baggage jams maintain the cleanliness of the immediate work area and bag room as required.
• BSO are responsible for the operation of the belt system.
• Must ensure proper spacing of bags and monitor the buildup of bags on the carousels.
• Must ensure that the bags are aligned as required and/or immediately clear any resulting jams.
• BSOs are responsible for the manual movement of baggage in the event of a system outage.
• The BSOs will be responsible for providing customer service while directing, handling passenger baggage, and ensuring that customer baggage is directed to the appropriate locations from stations in the Airport bag room.
• Check baggage into the system when received from interline or other input point of a baggage system which entails determining baggage destination and placement of a bar coded tag on the baggage.
• Ensures that baggage transport tubs are used and cleaned of previous bar-coded tags.
• Gathering of baggage transport tubs from distribution points and return to input points.
• May also be required to act as a general utility/support type person on maintenance contracts, which may include parts or supplies runner.

Baggage System Operator, OXF

• Contribute to the timely delivery of Express packages by loading and unloading of air freight containers.
• Moving containers from airplane to truck for on-time delivery to our customers at our airport location.
• Transport, load and unload air freight containers from aircraft within confined areas.
• Push, pull and position loaded air freight containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs.
• Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading.
• Read 'off-load' sheets to determine destination of Express packages.
• Operating ramp equipment with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs. in areas congested with aircraft.
• Engage in push-out of aircraft driving 80,000 lb. vehicle or provide guide function to driver using depth perception in congested areas or speaking to cockpit during push-back procedure.
• Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids.

Air Logistics Ramp Associate

General

• Maintain superior customer service and safe working practice at ALL times.
• Execute minor building repairs including basic plumbing (drain cleanouts within 5 ft of fixture), electrical (outlet/switch replacement, bulb/ballast changes, minor appliance services), painting/touch-ups, lighting maintenance, and key making (when blanks/equipment available).
• Respond to corrective and emergency work orders, performing in-house repairs within qualification limits and escalating complex or specialty work.
• Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
• Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, disassembly, cleaning, repair, replacement, testing, and reassembly of facility equipment and systems.
• React to call outs from the Control Room Operator or manager executing service calls CM, PM and EM.
• Preventative Maintenance – Inspection, adjustment, cleaning, replacement and prepare follow-up CM work orders if needed.

Handy Man – Facility Maintenance

• The Mechanic's first responsibility is keeping the ETV safe, reliable, and fully operational, with hands-on ownership of its mechanical systems, sensor systems, and monitor controls.
• Operate, position, and maneuver the ETV safely and proficiently during maintenance, testing, and service activities.
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to the ETV's sensor systems and monitor controls, including positioning, safety interlock, and control system feedback.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all mechanical portions of the ETV, including drives, motors, electrical circuits, SICK ATR systems, and conveyor components, in accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings, operational manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Proficiently replace any mechanical device, structural portion, or support involved with the efficient, safe operation of the ETV.
• Perform preventive maintenance: inspection, adjustment, cleaning, and replacement, and prepare follow-up CM work orders as needed.
• React to call-outs from the Control Room Operator or manager, executing service calls (CM, PM, and EM).

Mechanic/Operator

Manager

• Directing supervisory personnel within assigned functional area
• Overseeing and advising on staffing requirements
• Monitor/administer discipline/corrective action by or for subordinates
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by daily feedback
• Acting as liaison between first level supervisor and upper management
• Proactively monitor the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
• Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation.
• Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times.
• Read, understand and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge.

Manager on Duty

• Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of Ground service operations.
• Supervises all shift and ongoing activities related to Passenger and/or Cargo operations.
• Monitors the quantity and quality of work performance of assigned personnel.
• Directs personnel within assigned functional area.
• Oversees and advises on staffing needs for appropriate coverage.
• Participates in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates.
• Ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements.
• Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
• Maintains and controls all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA requirements.
• Ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations and contractual agreements.
