• Creator acquisition across multiple lifestyle creator segments (fashion, beauty, food, health).

Solutions Engineer

• Work with our Partnerships team to oversee and assist on high-profile migrations of email lists from external newsletter sites to Substack.
• Managing step-by-step creator processes and solving issues as they arise to create a seamless transition for writers and creators joining Substack.
• Lead and co-lead information sessions for Bestsellers and VIP users, answering technical and product questions.
• Be a resource for Substack best practices, account setup, and issue resolution.

Creator Solutions Manager

Marketing

• Define and execute multi-channel marketing programs for key creator segments
• Work closely with Partnership Leads across categories to build and execute market-specific programs
• Develop compelling content and campaign copy tied to clear, measurable goals
• Use data, insights, and experimentation to optimize program and campaign performance
• Partner with the Creator Marketing team to align product marketing, events, and creator marketing into cohesive, high-impact programs
• Collaborate with brand communications and editorial to spotlight creators across owned channels and earned media

Marketing Manager – Creator Marketing

• Work closely with the Head of Enterprise Partnerships on lead sourcing new sponsorship opportunities for creators
• Project manage pilot programs with new offerings for top publishers, from format to agreement to execution
• Handle day to day account management with major external partners
• Think creatively about new opportunities and offerings for top publishers to increase their business and expand their revenue streams
• Partner closely with the internal marketing, product, and data teams to deeply understand how these new formats, tools, and opportunities are working
• Work cross-functionally to help uplevel sponsorship strategy

Sponsorships Partner Manager

• Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-performing Culture publishers, supporting their growth through best practices, thoughtful guidance, and ongoing partnership.
• Identify, engage, and recruit leading voices across culture — including writers, academics, public intellectuals, acclaimed authors, and cultural figures — and guide them through launching and growing on Substack.
• Work closely with the Head of Culture Partnerships as a thought partner in developing and refining strategy for scaling the Culture vertical, including identifying new opportunities, programs, and partnerships.
• Partner with internal teams (Comms, Product, Business Ops, Leadership) to support launches, initiatives, and broader platform goals.
• Stay deeply engaged with the evolving cultural, media, and intellectual landscape, helping Substack anticipate where meaningful conversations and communities are forming next.

Culture Partnerships Manager

Operations

• Support day-to-day business, people, and finance operations, ensuring core internal processes run smoothly.
• Assist procurement and legal operations workflows, including contract intake, prioritization, tracking prior agreements, and supporting contracts through execution.
• Maintain and audit employee data across HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems for onboarding and offboarding.
• Coordinate with our PEO on payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance requests, and year-end processes, including preparing payroll inputs, managing contractor and EOR records, and supporting reimbursements.
• Support operations projects, such as performance review cycles, compensation updates, and business compliance projects.
• Provide light office operations support for the New York office, including vendor coordination and general workplace needs.

• Work directly with customers to solve their problems. The entire company (CEO included) participates in customer support in order to drive empathy for our users and help us build better products.
• Our tech stack includes Typescript, Node/Express, React, Postgres, Redis, and DynamoDB. It’s helpful if you’re familiar with some of these already, if not, we’ll be excited to help you learn.

Software Engineer – Enterprise

• Develop native mobile apps (iOS in Swift and/or Android in Kotlin) for creators and their audiences, with a focus on activation and growth.
