Analyst

• Advise colleagues regarding benefits related issues, such as medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health saving accounts, short- and long-term disability, and 401k.
• Serve as internal resource on Reference-Based Pricing (RPB) medical plans, including employee education, vendor coordination, and resolving escalated issues.
• Conduct weekly benefit orientation session for new hires.
• Lead employee meeting during Open Enrollment, supporting benefit changes, plan education and Q&A.
• Perform transactional benefits administration including new hire enrollments, life events, eligibility changes, and payroll deductions.
• Conduct weekly and monthly audits to ensure accurate benefit enrollment and reporting.
• Manage leaves of absence end to end in connection with our leave vendor Support paid leave program.
• Partner with benefit vendors on plan setup, compliance, and issue resolution.
• Support annual surveys for both Benefits and Compensation.
• Support benefits processes in Workday. Ensure accuracy or end-to-end data flow between HR, benefits, payroll, and vendor systems.

Benefits Analyst

• Provides direction and oversight for sales strategy, external communication activities, competitive intelligence and internal communications

• Handling escalated member concerns while also providing Help Desk support for the Customer Service Team.
• Researching, responding, and providing a resolution, within the appropriate timeframe, to member inquiries submitted via phone, chat, email, or fax.
• Provide support for the customer service team through the manning and operation of the Help Desk.
• Serving as a resource and assisting the team of Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s) with questions related to escalated or technical issues.
• Being a reliable point of contact for members by keeping them updated on steps being taken to research and resolve any unsettled concerns.
• Partnering with the Customer Service Manager to identify training opportunities that improve CSR problem solving steps, technical understanding, and first call resolution.
• Identifying trends in escalations and preparing data used to identify root cause analysis.

Data Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Apache Airflow, and Apache Spark
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable, future-proof data solutions
• Develop, validate, deploy, and support complex ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
• Build clean, secure, and maintainable REST APIs following company standards
• Implement real-time and batch processing solutions for diverse data sources
• Develop reusable data engineering and AI frameworks for enterprise-wide adoption
• Define and manage domain-based “source of truth” data models, ensuring scalability and end-to-end data lineage

• Manage and assign incoming referrals in Guiding Care and route self-referrals appropriately.
• Maintain licensure tracking documents and send required notifications for updates or renewals.
• Produce and distribute staffing reports and quality data; submit required data to internal and client partners.
• Administer CareFirst platform access, including system setup, password resets, and coordination with IT.
• Facilitate onboarding for new hires across Operations Support and Care Management, including systems access, training coordination, and removal of staff from systems upon termination.
