Senior Counsel 1 – Law Center

Events

• Under the supervision of the Executive Director, plans and executes various mid- and high-level events in support of the University’s mission
• Creates and manages event budgets, produces timelines, and works with the event sponsors on all aspects of the program
• Manages and assists on an array of events including conferences, symposia, faculty events, Capitol Campus events, Law Reunion and Commencement and a wide variety of receptions, dinners and special events.
• Reports directly to the Executive Director, Capitol Campus Event Management & Scheduling.
• Works closely with other members of the events and scheduling team and supports other members as needed under the direction of the Executive Director.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• The Financial Analyst position is responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and processing fiscal transactions within the School of Health, Georgetown University Medical Center, Georgetown University.
• This position reports directly to the Senior Business Manager, School of Health (SOH).
• The Financial Analyst position is the Cost Center Manager (CCM) for the School, assisting in oversight of all fiscal activities under the SOH Cost Centers.
• This position helps ensure that the transactions are reviewed and approved in accordance with GU policies and procedures, and within the approved budgeted amounts during a given fiscal year.
• Serve as the main Cost Center Manager (CCM) for SOH Cost Centers.
• Serve as the Sponsored Research Liaison between the SOH Faculty and the Joint Office of Research Administration (JORA).

• One of the primary points of contact for GU Experience at SSP
• Foster a supportive and structured environment to ensure student success and smooth path toward graduation

• Responsible for academic advising, academic program development, and recruiting activities
• Manage MIMR admissions and recruitment
• Coordinate with the ISIM Director and faculty in program and curriculum development
• Develop outreach activities related to current students, alumni, and other stakeholder groups

Assistant Director of Academic Affairs, International Migration

• The Director, Planned Giving in the Office of Advancement at Georgetown University is responsible for providing planned giving services throughout the University, including the main campus and medical center.
• There is a strong emphasis on documentation of leadership annual fund planned gifts to build a strong financial foundation for the University through philanthropy.
• This role also provides counsel to fundraisers throughout the organization to facilitate their engagement with donors in their respective units or areas.
• The Director provides counsel on technical areas such as estate and wealth planning, tax, liquid or hard-to-value assets, complex charitable giving vehicles and structures, and the financial and personal issues affecting wealthy families.
• Additionally, this role will support development officers when prospective donors may be considering or have the potential for gift planning as an avenue for contributing to the University.

• Support academic, admissions, student life, and administrative functions of various programs

Academic Programs Administrator

• the Graduate Program Coordinator is responsible for all day-to-day, on-the-ground activities to manage and maintain a successful and healthy program
• Serve as the main point-of-contact for graduate program inquiries, both internally and externally
• Participate in marketing and recruitment efforts for the program
• Prepare admissions files for review, maintain records of all applications and admission decisions, and process such decisions in Slate, the University’s admissions systems
