About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- supports the Associate Vice President of Graduate Admissions in managing technical, administrative, and personnel operations in the Graduate Admissions Office
- advising prospective students on programs
- instructing faculty and staff on best practices regarding administration of duties
- recruitment and counseling students on the admissions requirements for 150 graduate programs
- responsible for reviewing and evaluating cases for admission, and finalizing admissions decisions
- implementation and maintenance of technical and functional processes for events and outreach and communications campaigns
- management of academic credentials and applicant dossiers
- supervises student and temporary staff, as well as supports training/management for temporary staff on the Graduate Admissions team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in higher education admissions
- Administrative experience and high general technical competency
- Expertise in foreign credential evaluation, international educational systems; translation / language skills desired
