About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • supports the Associate Vice President of Graduate Admissions in managing technical, administrative, and personnel operations in the Graduate Admissions Office
  • advising prospective students on programs
  • instructing faculty and staff on best practices regarding administration of duties
  • recruitment and counseling students on the admissions requirements for 150 graduate programs
  • responsible for reviewing and evaluating cases for admission, and finalizing admissions decisions
  • implementation and maintenance of technical and functional processes for events and outreach and communications campaigns
  • management of academic credentials and applicant dossiers
  • supervises student and temporary staff, as well as supports training/management for temporary staff on the Graduate Admissions team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in higher education admissions
  • Administrative experience and high general technical competency
  • Expertise in foreign credential evaluation, international educational systems; translation / language skills desired
