• - Support the Annual Business Plan by delivering key messages and marketing updates to our retail network.
• - Review activity against agreed measures, working cross‑territory or regionally as needed.
• - Bring retail insight, new ideas and improved ways of working into Allwyn through team meetings and 1:1s with your Retail Sales Manager.
• - Use sales data and local insights to identify growth opportunities within your territory.
• **Execution**
• - Manage and plan store visits across your assigned territory, ensuring you’re well prepared for each visit.
• - Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers to drive great in‑store execution and advocacy of The National Lottery.
• - Proactively drive high in‑store standards and deliver key messages that support sales performance.
• - Support retailers with training, compliance requirements and player‑protection standards through the Retail Training Centre (RTC).
• - Develop a strong understanding of your territory, retailer performance, competitor activity and local market trends.
• - Review your territory’s performance against key KPIs and discuss outcomes with your line manager.
• - Promote responsible play and ensure retailers meet player protection requirements.
• **Development**
• - Drive your own development through the Retail Sales Academy (RSA) and your Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship.
• - Engage fully in all apprenticeship learning, coaching sessions and structured training modules.
• - Work independently in the field while reporting progress, insights and development needs to your Retail Sales Manager.
• **Training Plan (Apprenticeship)**
• - Training will be delivered through a combination of on-the-job experience and structured learning:
• - Training primarily takes place across your assigned retail territory.
• - You will receive ongoing coaching from your Retail Sales Manager and support from the Retail Sales Academy as well as your apprenticeship training provider.
• - A minimum of **20% off‑the‑job training** will be delivered through virtual learning, workshops and practical application related to your apprenticeship as well as on the job learning.
• - Team meetings, development sessions and regional workshops may occasionally take place at central locations.
• **Working Week**
• - **Monday–Thursday:** 9:00am–5:30pm
• - **Friday:** 9:00am–5:00pm
• - **Total:** 37 hours per week
• - This is a **field‑based role** requiring daily travel across your assigned territory.
• - Occasional flexibility may be needed to attend regional meetings or business events.

Retail Growth Apprentice – 18 Months FTC

Security Operations

• Lead day‑to‑day Security Operation to ensure effective monitoring, triage, and response across a cloud‑first, highly‑integrated security environment.
• Lead a team of 10 SOC analysts and oversee performance, including rota management, workload balancing, skills development, and ongoing coaching of analysts.
• Help the Senior Cyber Defence Manager drive continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities through feedback on the engineering tuning effectiveness, automation, and optimisation of SIEM, SOAR, EDR and other cloud‑native security platforms.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of SOC playbooks, operating procedures, and escalation paths, ensuring they stay current with evolving threats and technologies.
• Willingness to work shifts as needed to maintain adequate team coverage and operational staffing levels.
• Ensure high‑quality post‑incident reviews are completed, lessons‑learned are captured, and improvements are fed back into tooling, processes, and training.
• Partner with the Senior Cyber Defence Manager and specialist third‑party providers to continually strengthen threat detection, response processes, and overall, SOC maturity.
• Provide operational evidence, insights, and support to Governance, Risk & Assurance teams while maintaining clear separation of duties.
• Collaborate closely with the Major Incident Manager and TechOps teams to ensure coordinated response, timely escalation, and effective resolution of security incidents.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of business and customer impact to support effective prioritisation, communication and incident response decision-making.

Security Operations and Incident Response Manager

Product Designer

• Lead and champion design excellence across Studio 59
• Own the visual expression of The National Lottery brand across campaigns, content and assets
• Ensure consistently high standards of design craft across all outputs and formats
• Architect and maintain a "Living Design System" that bridges the gap between digital products, physical retail environments, high-level brand campaigns and always on social activations, ensuring a unified customer journey across all touchpoints.
• Oversee the creation of atomic, modular design libraries that empower the wider team to assemble high-fidelity layouts for all channels rapidly while maintaining strict adherence to brand DNA.
• Develop, evolve and govern design systems, toolkits and templates to support scale and consistency
• Ensure design output aligns with brand strategy, frameworks and guardrails
• Provide clear design direction that enables speed without compromising quality
• Work closely with the Brand Director and Creative Director to translate brand strategy and creative concepts into effective design
• Partner with the Head of Delivery to refine the "brief-to-delivery" pipeline by implementing standardised design hand-off steps that minimize friction between teams.
• Collaborate with Production and Media teams to ensure design is platform-ready and fit for purpose
• Lead, develop and inspire the Design Team, including newly introduced and repurposed roles
• Embed efficient, scalable design processes that support both planned and reactive delivery
• Maintain clarity of decision-making and accountability within the design function

• Deliver the Retail Key Performance Indicators through ownership of territory management plans and prepare store visits within your assigned territory.

Retail Sales Executive

DevOps Engineer

• Monitor, triage and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, cloud workloads, containers, CI/CD pipelines and IaC repositories
• Work closely with SOC, Enterprise Security and Cyber Defence teams to respond to active and emerging threats ensuring rapid technical remediation
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines including container scanning and secret scanning
• Maintain and improve IaC security posture using Terraform and ensure compliance with security baselines and guardrails
• Automate security checks and enforcement using policy as code, security scanners and cloud native services
• Support threat modelling and secure solution design with engineering teams
• Own vulnerability management workflows and ensure timely remediation in line with risk and audit expectations
• Implement and maintain cloud security configurations (IAM, key management, WAF security groups, logging and monitoring)
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks and remediation guidance for engineering teams
• Work with product and engineering teams to embed security into development standards
• Create and enforce governance policies

Software Engineer

• As a senior you will drive the design, deployment, and management of the automation and monitoring platforms to support our applications and services.
• Establish and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and cost management.
• Build & maintain the monitoring and alerting infrastructure and configuration.
• Develop dashboards to visualise key information to business stakeholders.
• Configure automation for new system integrations using existing custom frameworks and manage job configurations using Control-M scheduling.
• Develop new automated processes making use of programming knowledge.
• Maintain a fundamental understanding of the Allwyn infrastructure and gaming platforms to aid with capacity planning and troubleshooting.
• Build GitHub Actions automations to deploy code into test & production environments
