• Become an expert in the heavy industry market: Deep dive into the metallurgy sector to build actionable insights, understand specific challenges (price pressure, tough labor conditions, high turnover, rural locations, workforce aging, skills shortage), and upskill the sales team on market specificities.
• Develop verticalized sales materials: Work with Business Solutions and Product Marketing teams to create adapted pitch decks, objection-handling guides, and sales assets tailored to the formal, traditional business culture of the sector.
• Strengthen partnerships with industry associations: Build on existing relationships with UIMMs (Union des Industries et des Métiers de la Métallurgie) and expand to additional regional associations and to national level.
• Generate qualified business opportunities: Create qualified lead pipeline through field marketing initiatives, targeting key geographic clusters and the one unified CCN.
• Raise Alan's brand presence in the heavy industry ecosystem: Organize or sponsor targeted events, develop content strategy, and position Alan as a recognized specialist in metallurgy HR challenges.
• Establish thought leadership: Position Alan within the metallurgy community through strategic collaborations, speaking engagements at industry events, and content highlighting our understanding of sector-specific challenges.

Account Executive

• You’ll own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. In our Metallurgy Sales team, the average sales cycle is six months, working with companies of 20 to 300 employees and an average ARR of €150K.
• At Alan, Account Executives drive deals and close strategic opportunities with prospects. You’ll sometimes manage customer relationships to ensure the best possible onboarding. You’ll educate prospects, deliver engaging product demos, and onboard key stakeholders to make the transition from prospect to customer seamless.
• We expect you to understand and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method. This approach makes the prospect experience an integral part of the overall Alan customer experience—pleasant and delightful for everyone. You’ll be instructive with prospects (Smart) and design the best personalized high-touch strategy for each prospect (Soft).
• You’ll also help us grow and improve as a company by challenging our product(s), methods, and strategy, and by taking part in initiatives to expand our customer base.

Account Executive, Metallurgy

• In our B2B Sales team, the average sales cycle is 6 months, dealing with companies ranging from 30 to 300 employees, with an average ARR of 150K€.

• You’ll educate prospects, provide inspiring product demos, and onboard key stakeholders, making the transition from prospect to customer seamless.
