Account Executive, Mid-market
AlanAccount Executive managing the full sales cycle and engaging clients to provide health solutions. Delivering inspiring product demos and ensuring seamless customer onboarding with a focus on the French market.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You’ll own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. The average sales cycle is 4–6 months, working with companies of 30–300 employees, with an average ARR of €150K.
- At Alan, Account Executives drive deals and close strategic opportunities with prospects. We sometimes manage certain customer relationships to ensure optimal onboarding. You’ll educate prospects, deliver compelling product demos, and onboard key stakeholders to make the transition from prospect to customer seamless.
- We expect you to understand and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method. This method ensures the prospect experience is an integral part of the overall Alan customer experience—making it pleasant and delightful for everyone. We expect you to be instructive with prospects (Smart), and to define the best personalized high-touch strategy that suits each prospect (Soft).
- You’ll also help us grow and improve as a company, challenging us to enhance our product(s), methods, and strategy, and getting involved in initiatives to expand our customer base.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 4 years of experience managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Prospecting is a key part of the role.
- Full professional proficiency in French (C2 or equivalent) and an advanced level of English.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills.
- Empathetic and passionate about understanding and solving prospects’ problems.
- Able to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building.
- Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively within a small team.
- Eager to learn quickly and make an impact from day one.
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes, or Biarritz.
