HVAC Technician

Customer Support

• Provide on-demand and scheduled remote technical support services for Key Accounts customers in a technical service environment.
• Perform remote Building Automation System (BAS) diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, maintenance, and equipment startup support.
• Remotely inspect and evaluate BAS, HVAC, and chiller systems, delivering detailed reports on system operation and issue identification.
• Communicate via telephone, instant messaging, and email with onsite Trane and third-party BAS and mechanical technicians, customers, customer representatives, and Trane internal teams.
• Participate in technical and strategic account reviews with internal stakeholders.

Controls Support Specialist

Technician

• Responsible for end to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.

Senior HVAC Service Technician

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up advanced HVAC systems
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers on new facility installations and retrofits
• Coordinate with service leaders/project managers to understand requirements for all on-site installations and repairs

Data Center – Chiller Technician

Data Scientist

• Responsible for training and developing HVAC Field Technicians, providing technical advice and offering guidance
• Assist in scheduling, organizing, and dispatching HVAC Field Technicians
• Assist Service Manager with recommendations for hiring/firing of staff
• Maintain vehicles by keeping record of service manuals, scheduling and completing repair and maintenance services
• Work with Project Manager to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary
• Evaluate area safety needs/requirements to provide feedback and recommendations to service technicians and assists in the implementation of safety policies, procedures, and training
• Required travel overnight to other areas as needed and is based on business needs

Data Center Technician – Team Lead

• Chiller repair and troubleshooting experience are essential for this role.
• Responsible for servicing and assembling Chiller equipment, ranging from 50 Tons and up.
• Work is mostly performed onsite at hospitals, arenas, casinos, shopping malls as well as occasional assigned projects, and jobsites.
• Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing chiller products and chiller equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, examining, diagnosing and repairing chiller equipment and systems at customer’s location.
• Coordinates with team leader/project manager and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.

Chiller Technician

Safety Specialist

• Assist with leading and coordinating safety process efforts in the commercial sales/service offices as directed by the Regional EHS Leader.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and jobsite visits with technicians at customer sites, both service and contracting.
• Ensure all safety, occupational health and environmental related records are accurately maintained and in compliance with OSHA, DOT, provincial, state, or other regulatory agency rules and regulations and Trane procedures.
• Implement Trane safety policies and procedures to be followed by company personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Analyze safety data to coordinate the safety effort for continual improvement.
• Participate in department Lean processes including Regional EHS A3.
• Assist in development and conduct annual safety training in assigned area offices, to include all regional employees.
• Conduct new-hire safety training in assigned areas.
• Support implementation and purchasing required PPE meeting Trane field standards, conduct in-person high-risk training and assign online training as determined by the business and regional training plan.
• Ensure that regional training, Qualified Person, PPE and inspection databases are updated and maintained.
• Participate on corporate teams as needed to assist in the development of safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure safety and/or environmental invoices and purchase requisitions are processed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and lead the Safety Committees in assigned areas and complete action items in a timely manner.
• Participate in investigation of injuries, near misses, incidents, and accidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented and completed.
• Utilize company EHS platform, Benchmark|Gensuite, as directed to assign and monitor inspections, concern and near miss reports, Action Tracking System items and generate various reports as directed.
• Support review and mitigation of safety concerns through all business platforms, such as XOi, ProCore, etc.
• Ensure inspections and audits are completed on a regular basis in assigned area offices.
• Assist inspectors in corrective actions and development of preventative measures.
• Assist with overseeing the administration of workers' compensation program, including working with the insurance carrier and administering the return-to-work program.
• Represent the organization in the community and/or industry safety groups and programs.
• Assist in evaluation of contractors as part of the regional contractor qualification program.
• Assist other Trane Technologies businesses, such as co-located Trane Supply stores, as needed and directed.
• Covering the Regional geography with expectation to be with technicians on jobsites and rotate through the regional offices on a regular basis.
• Other times should be focused on administrative and regulatory paperwork or safety concern follow-up, while working in your base office.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time – across the region.

Regional Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Procurement

• The Procurement Analyst is responsible for multiple Procurement projects, working with cross-functional teams and standard work to build and execute project implementation plans for productivity and continuous improvement projects
• Partner with Product Growth Teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements
• Responsible for monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate
• Investigate, coordinate and communicate project changes
• Identify gaps to goals and collaboratively develop and support countermeasures and activities to close the gap and exceed targets
• Support Product Growth Team’s goals by leading and executing supplier rationalization, quality and delivery improvement projects

Procurement Analyst

Systems Engineer

• Provide customer service to field, manufacturing and internal customers on a daily basis.
• Work with team to continually develop business processes and system enhancements.
• Understand integrated business systems configuration options and tools.
• Identify application problems and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
• Provide training and support of end users for Trane North America.
• Update user training and documentation for specific business processes.
• Develop and manage process improvement plans in regard to specific business processes.
• Observe and document any malfunction of the software and offer reasonable solutions for correction.
• Work with other groups within Trane to establish best practices and implement management strategy.
• Assist with application requirements and lead user acceptance testing for the application deployment process.
