About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market
Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments
Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements
Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
Serve as direct customer contact and manage products and equipment on assigned projects
Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations
Use software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
Work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays
Enforce high safety standards
Record use, wear, and condition of company-issued and procured assets

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Typically 5+ years of experience in HVAC
Technical School or formal training preferred
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Working proficiency with handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads
Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months
No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit-and-run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
EPA Certification
Ability to work overtime and weekends as business requires, including occasional overnight stays
Ability to pass additional drug screening for this safety-sensitive role
