Analyst

• Provides support and functional supervision to programs within the Division of Quality Assurance and Regulation
• Conducting and tracking training for inspectors
• Reviewing daily inspection reports and inspector activities for completion and adequacy
• Administers the Maine Quality Trademark program; approves applications and processes renewals
• Issues Letters of Warning and makes Enforcement referrals to the Attorney General’s Office as needed
• Administers the Minimum Standards for Potato Seed Planting program
• Assists with sampling activities within the Dairy and Feed, Seed, Fertilizer programs as needed
• Integral to the programs providing food safety inspection and consumer protection
