About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct pre-survey document reviews of pertinent information as assigned by your survey’s Team Leader;
  • Participate in entrance and exit conferences with your team and facility leadership;
  • Participate in training, including mandatory training required by CMS;
  • Other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registered Nurse and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of nursing and/or in the delivery of health care services.
  • Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine, as issued by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements for the types of healthcare providers listed above.
  • CMS Certification in any or all of the types of providers listed above.
  • Knowledge of CMS’s Principles of Documentation.
  • Knowledge of CMS’s databases ASPEN and/or iQIES.
