About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct pre-survey document reviews of pertinent information as assigned by your survey’s Team Leader;
- Participate in entrance and exit conferences with your team and facility leadership;
- Participate in training, including mandatory training required by CMS;
- Other related duties, as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Registered Nurse and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of nursing and/or in the delivery of health care services.
- Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine, as issued by the State Board of Nursing.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements for the types of healthcare providers listed above.
- CMS Certification in any or all of the types of providers listed above.
- Knowledge of CMS’s Principles of Documentation.
- Knowledge of CMS’s databases ASPEN and/or iQIES.
