Manager

• Working with Fundraising Heads and Leads to develop prospecting strategies for the identification of new high value prospects.
• Line management responsibility to deliver prospecting and pipeline activities to a high standard.
• Identifying new prospects via data mining, press scanning, peer networks, and prospecting projects to develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects for fundraising teams.
• Managing a prospect management system on Raiser's Edge to track and manage the movement of Philanthropy prospects.
• Leading prospect portfolio reviews for the Philanthropy & Trusts team to assess the health of the pipeline.
• Working with the Leadership Teams to manage the process involved with the Charity's Donation Acceptance and Refusal Policy from end to end.
• Acting as data champion for the Philanthropy, Events, Corporate and Regional Fundraising Teams.

Prospect Development Manager

• Work collaboratively to implement activities to deliver financial targets, with a responsibility for delivering an annual individual income target that focuses on significant financial gifts from major donors and family foundations.
• Line manage staff utilising Action for Children policies and procedures.
• Developing plans to solicit and engage through plans to create a portfolio that includes existing donors and new prospects.
• Collaborative working with fundraising colleagues.
• Applying a range of relationship management techniques to support effective communication strategies.
• Delivering the Philanthropy growth plan.
• Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the teams annual planning and reporting processes (including finances).

Philanthropy Manager

Community Manager

• Undertake home visits, Family Hub meetings, and multi-agency sessions
• Build strong relationships with families and professionals, encouraging active participation
• Provide 1:1 and group-based interventions tailored to individual needs
• Safeguard children and escalate concerns appropriately
• Organise and plan daily work objectives, including administrative tasks and report writing
• Guide and support less experienced staff and volunteers
• Deliver outreach work across South Worcestershire from WANDS Family Hub

Community Development Worker

• Provide individualised support to young people aged 5–23 with disabilities, following child-led care plans
• Support young people in community activities (parks, swimming, bowling, cinema, shopping, public transport, cafes, clubs, museums)
• Deliver personal care, emotional support and maintain a clean, safe and nurturing environment
• Run and facilitate activities at the Community Hub for small groups (arts & crafts, life skills)
• Help young people understand boundaries and relationships and act as a consistent adult role model
• Manage challenging behaviour with patience, compassion and consistency
• Work rota over 7 days providing direct support hours; travel within community as required
• Contribute to care planning and support families to build resilience

Community Short Breaks Practitioner

• Provide temporary respite care for children and young people
• Plan and organise engaging activities that promote independence and personal development
• Provide personal care and therapeutic support, emotional support, and maintain a clean, safe, nurturing environment
• Monitor and assess the progress and behaviour of children and young people, providing feedback to families and relevant professionals
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to tailor activities and support to individual needs
• Participate in training and professional development to stay updated on best practice
• Engage the community and deliver community-based short break sessions (1:1 and small groups)
