Financial Planning and Analysis

• Ensure the day-to-day accounting of bank transactions is carried out with a high level of accuracy, right first time.
• Adhere to, and maintain, the financial services timetable for monthly, quarterly, and annual routines surrounding month end close.
• Ensuring payments are set up in a timely manner and approval process is adhered before setting up payments on bank and APT for BACS payments.
• Assist number of employees with the ability to conduct critical business functions surrounding payments and receipts, understanding all areas of bank administration including BACS, Pay-pal, and credit card machines and recording these transactions in timely manner on systems.
• Point of contact in relation to bank queries and support hub.
• Balance sheet reconciliations – Bank, Pay-pal, Petty Cash etc.
• Assist the team in embedding new workload and process/system improvements into the Treasury and financial accounting department.

• Working with Fundraising Heads and Leads to develop prospecting strategies for the identification of new high value prospects.
• Line management responsibility to deliver prospecting and pipeline activities to a high standard.
• Identifying new prospects via data mining, press scanning, peer networks, and prospecting projects to develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects for fundraising teams.
• Managing a prospect management system on Raiser's Edge to track and manage the movement of Philanthropy prospects.
• Leading prospect portfolio reviews for the Philanthropy & Trusts team to assess the health of the pipeline.
• Working with the Leadership Teams to manage the process involved with the Charity's Donation Acceptance and Refusal Policy from end to end.
• Acting as data champion for the Philanthropy, Events, Corporate and Regional Fundraising Teams.
