Solutions Engineer

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate and understand customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions that align with customers' business objectives.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners, and stay updated on the latest product information.
• Provide product training and technical education to the sales team and customers.

Solutions Engineer – Enterprise

• Collaboration with multiple layers of contacts within client organizations, including but not limited to CIO, CTO, Platform Engineering, SRE, Developer teams, and procurement to strengthen our overall customer relationship
• Lead customer technical conversations presales engagement and own the technical strategy, execution, and opportunity through the sales cycle
• Design and sell platform and hybrid cloud solutions across on-premises and hybrid environments, including software and infrastructure, leveraging OEM and third party technologies aligned to customer outcomes
• Understand the company’s services offerings in all solution practice areas by attending company training and expanding knowledge through self-study
• Educate sales teams on container, automation, platform architecture and hybrid cloud solution selling, and key technologies through 1x1, team, and company training
• Staying current on new technology, trends, and market behavior by studying market trends and the industry landscape
• Engaging in self-study and independent work in lab facilities to increase job-related knowledge and skills
• Developing collateral, workshops, and other materials to assist with sales engagements
• Developing cases in the SHI lab to support sales engagements

• Design, build, administer, and support SQL database environments across customer-managed platforms
• Ensure database performance, availability, reliability, and security in production environments
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve database performance and stability issues
• Perform backup, restore, HA/DR, and disaster recovery planning and execution
• Optimize existing environments and contribute to standardization through documentation and SOPs
• Engage directly with customers through incident response, change requests, meetings, and status updates

• Execute ABM programs focused on expanding SHI’s footprint within existing multinational customer accounts across Growth Markets.
• Support coordinated global-to-local ABM plays that align global account priorities with regional sales execution in the UK, EMEA, Canada, and APAC.
• Partner with global and regional account teams to ensure marketing activity supports agreed expansion goals and account plans.
• Deliver defined ABM motions aligned to Growth Markets priorities and global expansion opportunities.
• Coordinate execution across digital, field, partner, and sales-supported ABM activities.
• Work closely with regional sales and marketing stakeholders to activate ABM plays in-market.
• Support partner-involved ABM initiatives where partners play a role in customer expansion.

• Master SHI’s value proposition to consistently exceed revenue and profit goals, and develop penetrating sales strategies and pricing proposals.
• Cultivate relationships with existing customers and establish new ones through targeted sales techniques, including cold calling, meetings, and networking.
• Identify and create opportunities in the sales pipeline to achieve sales targets, develop business with existing customers, and establish new customers using targeted sales techniques.

• Conduct day-to-day VMaaS activities, including vulnerability scanning, asset discovery, scan policy configuration, and reporting.
• Independently conduct Attack Surface Control (ASC) engagements for a variety of clients, including the use of automated tools and manual micro-penetration testing.
• Monitor automated penetration testing tooling to identify and validate security weaknesses.
• Perform validation of vulnerability findings to eliminate false positives and determine actual risk.
• Collaborate with the penetration testing team to conduct further deep-dive testing as needed based on vulnerability discoveries.
