• Responsible for providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure accuracy of patient information and receive patient payment
• Checking prescriptions for completeness and entering necessary information into the computer
• Communicating with prescribers to receive refill authorization
• Receiving patient refills by telephone, directing calls or taking and relaying messages
• Maintaining an organized and efficient workspace
• Investigating an incidence and/or variance as needed, documenting variances as needed
• Technician will be cross trained to help with large account orders
• Other duties, responsibilities and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
