Compliance

• Translate regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, BSA, FinCEN, OFAC, and others) into clear technical specifications.
• Partner with product and engineering to design, build, and maintain compliance-related systems and controls.
• Review technical implementations for regulatory gaps, and own remediation efforts when gaps are identified.
• Develop and maintain compliance analytics, data quality controls, data reconciliation processes.
• Serve as the technical subject-matter expert during regulatory exams, audits, and third-party assessments.
• Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements in the US and key international markets.
• Write and maintain technical compliance documentation, runbooks, and policies.
• Support SARs, CTRs, and other regulatory reporting workflows from a systems and data integrity standpoint.

Compliance Engineer

• Review and disposition transaction monitoring alerts and KYC/KYB onboarding applications
• Conduct enhanced due diligence on High Risk applicants
• Make well-reasoned SAR recommendations
• Draft SAR narratives that meet FinCEN quality standards
• Send RFIs to customers or partners
• Support periodic KYC refresh reviews on existing customers

Compliance Associate

• Review and disposition transaction monitoring alerts and KYC/KYB onboarding applications end to end - including customer profile review, document verification, beneficial ownership analysis, sanctions and PEP screening, adverse media assessment, and transactional activity analysis
• Conduct enhanced due diligence on High Risk applicants - including source of funds and source of wealth assessment, business model review, and full beneficial ownership chain documentation
• Make well-reasoned SAR recommendations - clearly articulating why activity is or is not suspicious and documenting your analysis in a manner that is complete and defensible to a regulator
• Draft SAR narratives that meet FinCEN quality standards
• Send RFIs to customers or partners where additional information is needed to resolve an alert or application and follow through to receipt and documentation of the response
• Support periodic KYC refresh reviews on existing customers as part of the Company's ongoing due diligence program
• Contribute to onboarding and investigation policy development - if you see a gap, flag it and propose a solution
• Stay current on FinCEN advisories, FATF typologies, and emerging financial crime trends relevant to Rain's product set - including stablecoin, virtual asset, and agentic payment typologies

Compliance Analyst

Implementation Specialist

• Facilitate the integration of key company accounts into the platform, ensuring a smooth transition and troubleshooting any issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand customer needs and tailor solutions to ensure successful onboarding
• Analyze product performance and track metrics to identify opportunities for improvement during the onboarding process
• Train product analysts on onboarding best practices
• Support the design of onboarding workflows for new business customers
• Provide data-driven insights to enhance the user experience and ensure companies are making the most out of Rain's products

Business Development Rep

• Build Rainmaker’s go-to-market and account strategy for Italy and Spain, owning every deal from qualification to signature
• Build trusted relationships across national ministries, river basin authorities, regional governments, irrigation consortia, utilities, and agricultural organizations and insurers
• Map the EU and national funding landscape with our Brussels advisors, with particular attention to drought response and climate adaptation instruments
• Coordinate with Rainmaker’s international teams to direct the region’s regulatory and legal workstreams
• Qualify opportunities in adjacent Mediterranean markets as signals warrant, and make the case for where we go next
• Hire and lead the in-market team as traction matures, and build the playbooks that let Rainmaker expand faster
• Represent Rainmaker in ministerial meetings, industry forums, and media across the region

Director of Business Development

• Build Rainmaker’s go-to-market and account strategy for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, owning every deal from qualification to signature
• Build trusted relationships at federal, state, cantonal, and local levels, including water and agriculture ministries, meteorological services (MeteoSwiss, DWD, GeoSphere Austria), hail defense associations, agricultural insurers, ski resorts, and alpine hydropower operators
• Map the EU and national funding landscape with our Brussels advisors, spanning research, agriculture, and climate adaptation instruments, and make the call on which are worth our time
• Coordinate with Rainmaker’s international teams to establish the Swiss hub and direct the region’s regulatory and legal workstreams, including entity formation and UAV airspace access with national aviation authorities under EASA frameworks
• Hire and lead the team that follows you, and build the playbooks the rest of Europe reuses
• Represent Rainmaker in ministerial meetings, industry forums, and media across the region

Director of Business Development – DACH

• Own Rainmaker’s Australia expansion strategy end-to-end

Operations Associate

Accountant

• Drive process improvements and automation by partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Data teams
• Execute month-end close activities, including variance analysis and reconciliations
