Director, Software Engineering

Director

• Directs Billing Management and staff to ensure that authorizations, accurate submission of all claims and timely collections occurs in accordance with all third-party contract terms including, Medicare, Medical, managed care, commercial insurance, and direct patient pay.
• Establishes and maintains all billing and financial data, including medical billing code tables, rate schedules and payer information.
• Analyzes reimbursement from all sources, including carrier reimbursement exception reporting and follow up pending claims analysis and denials management.

Medical Director

• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other Medical Directors in Oncology on the clinical development of ctDNA-based diagnostics.
• Lead development and implementation of clinical strategies for Natera's oncology products, with a focus on GU cancers.
• Oversee medical education and scientific communication for healthcare providers on Natera's oncology offerings.
• Partner with the commercial team to develop and deliver compelling medical messages for Natera's oncology products.
• Represent Natera at medical conferences and industry events, in person and virtual.
• Collaborate with research and development teams on clinical trial design, data analysis, and publication.

Senior Oncology Medical Director, GU

• Direct a team of biostatisticians, taking responsibility for their individual deliverables and growth (technical and professional)
• Oversee Biostatistics contributions to oncology product clinical validation projects
• Lead development of novel statistical approaches and simulations to support innovative study designs.
• Produce, review, and standardize high-quality documentation for cross-functional internal and external collaborators and stakeholders

Associate Director, Biostatistics

• Represent Natera with clinicians, academic institutions, public/private healthcare insurance and professional organizations
• Provide scientific and/or clinical presentations on Natera’s full suite of reproductive genetic products
• Work closely with Clinical Services team (MSLs/GCs) in the ongoing management of product quality and improvement
• Serve as a medical and scientific resource for the Natera Sales and Marketing teams. Develop, maintain, and manage interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (“KOLs”) from the obstetrics and genetics communities as well as other relevant healthcare professionals
• Address the specific needs of customers by responding to requests for information about our marketed and developing products

Medical Director, Women's Health – MFM

• Lead the commercial enablement strategy for Natera’s Oncology business, with a focus on data, analytics, omnichannel orchestration, and workflow optimization.
• Drive the development and execution of data and analytics initiatives that support BU Marketing and Medical Affairs, enabling more targeted, measurable, and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Corporate Marketing Analytics, Technology, field leadership, and functional stakeholders to align data strategy, reporting, business rules, and enablement priorities.

PSC Manager

• The Vice President of Laboratory Software Engineering is an enterprise executive role responsible for the strategy, modernization, and delivery of informatics platforms that power sample accessioning, order and sample tracking, and end-to-end workflow orchestration across both wet and dry laboratories.
• This role leads an organization of approximately 200 people and supports multiple business units, including Oncology Minimal Residual Disease (MRD), Oncology Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP), Early Cancer Detection (ECD), Women’s Health (WH), and Organ Health (OH).
• Operating in a CLIA- and CAP-certified clinical laboratory environment with FDA-regulated diagnostics, the VP will lead the transformation of a fully homegrown informatics ecosystem.
• The VP is expected to build strong relationships with laboratory, product, engineering, quality, and regulatory stakeholders; develop a deep understanding of existing informatics platforms and laboratory workflows; assess organizational strengths and gaps; and establish credibility with laboratory users through direct engagement, including onsite interaction. The leader should also identify near-term risks and opportunities while defining clear principles for platform modernization.
• Within the first year, the VP is expected to define and begin executing a multi-year enterprise informatics roadmap, make key architectural and build-vs-buy decisions, align the organization around standardized platforms, and demonstrate measurable improvements in scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
