Manager

Construction Manager – Lead

• Experience successfully managing multiple tasks, projects, and technical staff.
• Managing the working and reporting output of teams of construction administrators and inspectors for major tunnel infrastructure projects (transit, water, wastewater, stormwater etc.).
• Construction Inspection including attending progress meetings, developing meeting minutes and submittals reviews, and preparing daily and weekly inspection reports.
• Ensure quality and compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Ensure proper health and safety protocols are being adhered to on site in accordance with OSHA.
• Coordinate and follow-up with all engineering disciplines to review shop drawings, RFIs, and other relevant construction documentation as required.
• Attend bi-weekly meetings, risk registry workshops and scheduling workshops, and any other required meetings and coordination with utility companies, approval agencies, client etc.
• Track red-line drawings with contractor and ensure adequacy of information being captured.
• Provide feedback on construction schedule submissions including narrative reports and two-week look-ahead schedules provided by the contractor.
• Assist with maintaining an up-to-date deficiency log and ensure all deficiencies are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintaining, updating, and reviewing tracking sheets/logs for risk registry, RFIs, RFQs, CCOs, submittals, working days, other issues, etc.
• Assist with and coordinate all required materials testing under the consultant's scope, including review of all materials testing to ensure conformance to the contract documents.
• Prepare daily inspection reports sufficiently detailed and maintained, including all relevant photographs, and uploaded to electronic project folders.
• Perform construction inspection assignments or site visits of ongoing construction/rehabilitation work and attend progress meetings.

• Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance.
• Actively participate and serve in positions with professional organization(s).

Mid-level Design Engineer
