💰 $95,000 - $185,000 per year
About the role
- Responsible for scope, fees, and the profitability of individual projects as well as a portfolio of projects.
- Point person and firm's contact with clients while functioning as project manager.
- Assists in new sales with clients for which they are managing projects.
- Guides and coordinates all internal LJB transportation disciplines, with sub-consultants, and clients.
- Responsible for the nine knowledge areas according to the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Responsible for assisting the Deputy Operations Manager in maintaining PM best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
- P.E. license required, North Carolina PE is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in consulting or engineering is required.
- 5 years of project management experience is preferred.
- Experience working on DOT design projects is required.
- Experience with multiple DOTs is a plus.
- Deltek Vantagepoint or similar CRM and Project Management software experience is preferred.
- MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and Civil-3D software experience is preferred.
