About the role
- Collaborate with a team on structural analysis and design of various bridge types
- Lead bridge projects as the Bridge Task Coordinator
- Provide structural bridge design and plan production support to teams
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering professional development
- Develop technical memorandums, specifications, feasibility studies, evaluations
Requirements
- 5-10 years of hands-on bridge/culvert design experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering required
- Strong background in the full lifecycle of bridge projects
- Direct experience with DOT bridge design and understanding of DOT design guidelines
- Established relationships with state DOTs and municipalities preferred
- In-depth knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
- Experience with CAD plan development, MicroStation/ORD preferred
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers effectively.
- PE license is a plus
