💰 $81,000 - $120,000 per year
About the role
- Collaborate with a team on structural analysis and design of various bridge types
- Lead bridge projects as the Bridge Task Coordinator, managing project schedules, tasks, and deliverables
- Provide structural bridge design and plan production support to teams across different office locations
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering professional development and overseeing quality control
- Develop technical memorandums, specifications, feasibility studies, evaluations, and reports
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering required
- PE license is a plus; must have or be able to obtain a PE within 1 year of hire
- 5-10 years of hands-on bridge/culvert design experience
- Direct experience with DOT bridge design and understanding of DOT design guidelines
- Established relationships with state DOTs and municipalities preferred
- In-depth knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
- Experience with CAD plan development, MicroStation/ORD preferred
