About the role
- Collaborate with a team on structural analysis and design of various bridge types
- Lead bridge projects managing project schedules, tasks, and deliverables
- Provide structural bridge design and plan production support
- Mentor junior engineers overseeing quality control for bridge design
- Develop technical memorandums, specifications, feasibility studies, evaluations, and reports
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering required
- Structural emphasis preferred
- PE license is a plus
- 5-10 years of hands-on bridge/culvert design experience
- Direct experience with DOT bridge design
- Established relationships with state DOTs preferred
- In-depth knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
- Experience with CAD plan development, MicroStation/ORD preferred
