Strategic Account Director – NICU

• Drive territory growth by using targeting data to prospect new business while expanding relationships with existing accounts.
• Balance driving both depth within established accounts and developing new accounts and relationships.
• Serve as the first line of account management for healthcare providers, including MFMs, prenatal genetic counselors, midlevels, and clinical staff.
• Use sales data to understand ordering behaviors, areas of opportunity, territory planning, and conduct quarterly business reviews with ordering clinicians.
• Deliver tailored, consultative sales presentations to communicate the value of GeneDx’s prenatal testing solutions and services.
• Coordinate and execute both in-person and virtual client meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding, service delivery, and timely resolution of customer issues.
• Lead educational efforts within the territory, including developing and executing in-office appointments, regional conference events, physician lunches/dinners, and other engagement initiatives.
• Stay current on clinical genomics developments, prenatal testing guidelines, product offerings, and the competitive landscape to position GeneDx effectively.
• Maintain a high field presence, with an expectation of 4.5 days per week spent in the field with clients.

Claims Specialist

• Claims Submission: Prepare, review, and submit claims for diagnostic lab services to commercial and government payers, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and laboratory policies.
• Denial Management: Analyze denied claims, identify root causes, and initiate corrective actions including appeals and resubmissions.
• Follow-Up: Proactively follow up on outstanding claims, monitor aging reports, and communicate with payers to resolve issues and expedite payment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of claim status, correspondence, and payer responses in the billing system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with prior authorization, billing, and reimbursement teams to resolve complex claims and support cross-functional RCM initiatives.
• Compliance: Stay current with payer requirements, coding updates (CPT, ICD-10), and regulatory changes affecting laboratory claims.

• Achieve and exceed national sales goals by developing and executing strategic business plans that align with GeneDx’s broader commercial objectives.
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-performing team of Regional Account Executives (RAEs). Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities to support team success.

• Accountable for lead generation in an assigned territory, as well as physician and staff satisfaction with GeneDx programs and services, and coordination of sales/service activities among GeneDx team members.
• Coordinates with operations to ensure consistent follow up and timely issue resolutions.
• Implements agreed upon sales and marketing plans and actively supports development events such as physician dinners and special events.
• Prospects and establishes new physicians by actively managing a physician development pipeline and clear illustration and communication of value propositions.
• Promotes GeneDx services consultatively, determines customer needs and requirements and makes recommendations to physicians and staff of the various solutions GeneDx can offer them.
