• Support data and supplier intelligence activities by collecting and organizing supplier pricing, lead time, and capability data.
• Support analysis of pricing trends and cost drivers under guidance from senior team members and maintain supplier databases and sourcing tools to enable informed procurement decisions.
• Provide RFQ and sourcing event support by consolidating and comparing supplier bids and supporting supplier qualification and documentation throughout sourcing activities.
• Support reporting and pipeline visibility by updating and maintaining procurement dashboards and pipeline reports using existing templates, as well as supporting spend tracking and basic supplier performance reporting.

• Serve as Fluence’s primary negotiator for major EPC, equipment supply, and services contracts with executive-level customer stakeholders.
• Define negotiation strategy, commercial structure, and risk positions for complex transactions aligned with business objectives.
• Partner closely with VP and C-level leaders to shape deal decisions, resolve escalations, and secure approvals.
• Oversee a pipeline of complex negotiations, ensuring predictable timelines, commercial quality, and alignment to quarterly/annual order intake goals.
• Provide guidance and development to managers and negotiators; strengthen negotiation capabilities across the organization.
• Lead alignment with Legal, Finance, Delivery, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial Operations to ensure readiness for negotiations and approvals.

• Serve as Fluence’s senior Customer Success executive in their geographic zone, balancing operational rigor, customer trust, and commercial discipline while leading a high-performing global projects organization.
• Accountable for the successful execution and financial performance of Fluence’s global project portfolio within this zone.
• Own project delivery outcomes from sales contract handoff, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, at or above expected margin and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Build a dynamic and customer-focused team capable of scaling to meet the business needs with measurable productivity gains year over year.
• Lead regular project, portfolio, and executive business reviews to assess performance, surface risks, and drive corrective action.

Vice President, Head of Projects – Asia Pacific Zone

Communications

• Lead media relations in Germany, and across Europe, including identifying priority stories, building relationships with key journalists, managing local agency partners, and proactively pitching news and thought leadership angles that support Fluence’s local and global narrative.
• Develop and execute market-level communications plans aligned with global corporate communications strategies, with a particular focus on energy storage, renewables integration, grid modernization, and data center growth.
• Draft and localize high-quality external content, including press releases, media statements, op-eds, bylined articles, talking points, Q&As, and briefing documents.
• Support market-level thought leadership, including shaping messaging and developing content.
• Develop and publish engaging market-level social media content across relevant platforms to amplify key communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign objectives.
• Coordinate and execute market-level press conferences and provide communications support for market-level events such as ribbon cuttings and public policy briefings.
• Assist with crisis and issues communications in Germany, the UK/Ireland, and the broader EMEA market, including monitoring issues, preparing holding statements and Q&As, and supporting incident response, in coordination with global communications.
• Provide counsel to internal stakeholders in collaboration with the Director of External Communications on media engagement, messaging, and reputational considerations, helping market-level leaders and spokespeople navigate complex and sensitive topics.
• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure communications efforts support pipeline development, customer engagement, and key commercial milestones, including strategic project announcements.
• Collaborate closely with the local policy and public affairs teams to develop and lead policy-based communication campaigns in line with the strategic business priorities across various markets.
• Monitor and report on media coverage and communications performance across Germany, the UK/Ireland, and key EMEA markets, providing regular insights and recommendations to the global Corporate Communications team.
