Security Engineer

• Build security primitives, tooling, and automation that scale with the product and engineering org
• Define and implement our strategy for modern security workflows: AI-assisted vulnerability discovery, automated code review, threat detection, and remediation
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Product Engineering to make secure defaults the easiest path
• Own projects end to end: design, implementation, rollout, and measurement
• Secure our cloud environment (IAM, network policies, container security, secrets management, and misconfiguration prevention)

• Own the vulnerability discovery and validation lifecycle: static and dynamic analysis, dependency checks, pen tests, and bug bounties. Integrate modern automated detection systems (including Claude Mythos-class models) to find vulnerabilities at scale.
• Build and deploy security agents and automated workflows that can scan codebases, propose fixes, and in some cases autonomously deploy security patches.
• Build frameworks and reusable components for authentication, authorization, and secure-by-default patterns.
• Define practical policies and controls for code generation tools and coding agent changes, so they can be used safely and consistently.

Customer Support

• Own enterprise-level technical cases end-to-end, from triage through resolution, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for strategic accounts—understanding their business goals and proactively recommending workflows, configurations, and integrations to meet them.
• Act as the highest-level subject matter expert on Clay’s product, advanced features, APIs, and data integration capabilities.

• Own GTM in your vertical: find the highest-value use cases for Clay, build pipeline, and close net-new business end-to-end

• You’ll lead high-impact, ambiguous projects that don’t neatly fit into a single function—whether that’s launching a new growth motion, improving how we connect product marketing to sales, or building new internal systems for tracking performance.

• Architect the GTM operating rhythm end-to-end: sit in every forecast call, design inspection and accountability cadences, and close inefficiencies across sales, CX, and marketing. Partner closely with our GTM leadership.

• Design and execute a comprehensive internal events calendar, including weekly office activations, monthly all-hands celebrations, quarterly offsites, and our annual company retreat
• Develop engaging event concepts that align with Clay's culture and values, from team-building activities to talent shows, wellness programming, and celebration moments
• Collaborate with leadership, department heads, and the Workplace Experience team to understand event needs and ensure seamless execution

• Lead high-volume, full-cycle recruiting for Marketing roles at all levels - think roles like PMM, Narrative, Brand, but done the Clay way.
• Work with teammates to ensure a delightful candidate experience, from the first conversation through each of your candidates’ first day.
• Sourcing - lots of it! Clay has a strong pitch when it comes to revenue and growth, but we’re still in the early stages of getting the word out. And you’ll figure out new ways to source by using Clay, sourcing tools, and referral campaigns.
• Collaborating with leadership on strategic aspects of recruiting. Success in this role isn’t just about filling requisitions, but also about quality of hire and designing effective interview processes.

Marketing Recruiter

• Develop and execute joint marketing campaigns with data partners—webinars, content collaborations, product launches, marketplace promotions
• Create partner messaging frameworks and positioning that articulate the joint value of Clay + partner data

• Partner with GTME (Sales) and GS (CX) teams to structure non-standard and complex deals, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and revenue recognition policies
