Administrator II – Developmental Disabilities

General

• Reviews applications, establishes paper and computer case records.
• Establishes and enforces paternity and court orders for child support and medical support using legal and administrative processes.
• Obtains financial information from parties to calculate child support guidelines; drafts legal documents under the direction of an attorney; performs related work as required.
• Manages an assigned child support caseload and demonstrates critical thinking skills required to complete tasks independently.
• Communicates on the phone with customers that may be reluctant to establish or pay support orders.
• Communicates with a variety of in and out of state agencies including: federal/state partners, attorneys, clerks of the court, and related entities to achieve the goals of the child support program.
• Monitors payments and initiates administrative enforcement actions, (i.e. Income Withholding, License Suspension, Administrative Attachment).

Child Support Enforcement Worker

Teacher

• Teach small and large group classes in math, science, social studies, reading, language, and instruct a program for English as a second language as needed.
• Work with students whose abilities range from 0 to 12.9+ grade levels and ages range from 14 to 65+.
• Utilize various online learning resources to integrate secure technology into lessons.
• Document classroom activities/student progress weekly.
• Maintain classroom supervision and discipline while overseeing and training inmate teacher aides.

• The work involves job orientation and training under close supervision for a period of one year to gain experience and develop ability.
• Incumbents are trained in performing investigatory and supervisory responsibilities involving offenders, under direct supervision for an assigned district.
• Training includes managing a caseload; preparing investigation reports; supervising offenders; conducting intake and detention interviews; testifying in courts; performing drug and alcohol testing; arresting or detaining probationers per statute; and managing and maintaining electronic monitoring equipment.
• Regular travel is required to support operations across both the Fremont and Blair offices.
• Core hours are Monday–Friday daytime with occasional on-call, evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.

Examiner

• Conduct on-site and/or in-office reviews to ensure compliance

Specialized Populations Officer – Juvenile

Program Manager

• This position focuses heavily on data and reporting.
• Serves as the legislative session and reporting liaison for the 24-hour DHHS youth facilities.
• Coordinates all other reporting for the facilities on the state and federal levels.
• Ensures statutory, standard, and internal procedural compliance within facility operations through data monitoring and documentary auditing.
• Facilitates and coordinates process improvements in response to non-compliance findings or procedural revisions.
• Supervises the Compliance Program Manager I in Kearney and indirectly supervises the Compliance Specialists at each facility.

Compliance Program Manager II

• Lead, coordinate, and support the daily operations of CFS service delivery within the assigned area, ensuring alignment with federal and state outcomes for safety, permanency, and well being.
• Serve as a key member of the service area leadership team, partnering with the Service Area Administrator to implement strategic goals and operational priorities.
• Provide direct leadership to CFS Supervisors, ensuring consistent application of policies, procedures, and standards across units.
• Monitor service delivery performance using data to inform decision making; identify trends, develop action plans, and drive continuous quality improvement.

• Assist taxpayers in resolving business or individual accounts that are delinquent in filing returns or paying tax liabilities.

• Review, evaluate, negotiate, and litigate contested tax cases through DOR's formal hearing process.
