About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Arranging, conducting, and maintaining documentation for drug screenings
- Collecting, disposing, and maintaining records of urine specimens
- Conducting drug screenings using approved testing methodologies
- Maintaining the inventory of testing supplies and equipment
- Testifying in court and reporting/documenting testing results
- Ensuring documentation procedures are done in accordance with policies and procedures

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior substance abuse or chemical testing training and working with the offender population (preferred)
- Knowledge of drug screening and chemical testing methodology
- Knowledge of safe work methods and procedures
- Knowledge of applicable testing equipment
- Knowledge of recordkeeping principles
- Knowledge of basic inventory management principles
- Experience using computers and related software applications
- Skills in performing drug screening
- Skills in collecting applicable samples
- Skills in maintaining specimen records
- Skills in monitoring inventory and supply levels
- Skills in maintaining operational records
