Billing Specialist

• Review customer contracts and ensure accurate billing setup in the system
• Process subscription changes, upgrades, downgrades, and renewals
• Ensure billing completeness on a monthly basis
• Apply customer payments
• Assist with collections efforts, including monitoring aging reports and following up with customers
• Respond to customer billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Support revenue-related reporting and analysis
• Assist with audit requests and documentation
• Partner cross-functionally on process improvements related to quote-to-cash
• Support ad-hoc accounting and finance projects as needed

General Counsel

• Partner with Ashby’s Product Team and individual Product Managers to provide proactive legal advice on new products and features, particularly those involving AI and candidate data, addressing areas such as privacy, PII handling, transparency, bias mitigation, and anti-discrimination/equal opportunity.
• Own privacy compliance, including global DPA playbooks, privacy policy updates, and working with our DSAR team to streamline responses to data subject requests.
• Respond to customer security and compliance questionnaires, and develop scalable processes to handle volume.
• Contribute to the creation of customer-facing compliance documentation, FAQs, and GTM materials in partnership with product, security and marketing.
• Partner closely with the Ashby Security team to respond to any security incidents, including drafting relevant security related communications.
• Provide proactive advice by staying up to date on relevant industry regulations and developments, particularly in the regulation of the use of AI in the hiring process across our key regions and privacy law developments e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, and U.S. federal and state AI/privacy laws.
• Advise on data practices, data retention, and cross-border data transfers.
• Support vendor due diligence and negotiations on privacy and compliance terms.
• Work on a wide range of legal matters as they arise or are proactively identified, including IP, employment, global expansion and fundraising.
• Help shape the legal function’s operations and structure as Ashby continues to grow, including identifying opportunities for innovation through technology.

Legal Counsel – Product, Privacy

• Review, draft, and negotiate customer NDAs, MSAs, Order Forms, and DPAs with a focus on speed, commercial pragmatism and scalability.
• Be a responsive, reliable partner to the sales team and other internal stakeholders - someone they want to work with, not around.
• Support the scalability of commercial contracting at Ashby through the development of contract playbooks, fallback positions, and developing material to enable our sales team with items such as negotiation guidance.
• Partner closely with security, IT and our product teams to ensure prospect and customer questionnaires are responded to accurately, promptly and develop scalable solutions.
• Review and negotiate vendor agreements in partnership with business owners and relevant cross-functional stakeholders and meet SLAs.
• Own and improve legal operations through new workflows, technology and tools relevant to contract workflows, such as CLM, and CPQ tools, and enabling GTM teams. You should be excited about the opportunities that AI and new tools bring to the legal industry with proven experience driving adoption internally.
• Contribute to other in-house legal work as required including legal operations, employment matters, IP, corporate governance, and drafting both internal guidance materials to enable teams and external publications to educate and engage our customers and community.
• Work with external counsel as required.
• Flag issues and escalate appropriately; know when to pull me in.

Commercial Counsel

Customer Success Manager

• As a member of our Customer Success team, you will help us continue to grow our High Touch Customer Success function. In this role, you'll implement, train, and support the adoption of Ashby with customers across the region, partnering closely with a talented group of four CSMs on the EMEA High Touch team.
• You will become a product and domain expert in order to enable our customers to make the best use of Ashby to drive hiring excellence.

Customer Success Manager – EMEA

Product Marketing

• Own the long-term vision for Ashby’s GTM tech stack.
• Evaluate, procure, and implement tools that solve for today’s bottlenecks.
• Own and manage the core revenue technology stack across CRM, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
• Lead and mentor a lean team of systems experts.
• Act as the primary bridge between RevOps and Finance, Data/Analytics, and Engineering.
• Proactively identify technical debt within our revenue stack and streamline workflows.
• Design and streamline operational workflows using automation.

Manager, GTM Systems – Tools

Sales

• Own and triage customer issues from ingest through to resolution, whether that’s a one-time fix or a full project including org-wide changes.
• Offer, advocate and then implement best practices for an IT function that is securely creating the most productive workforce in the world.
• Own projects across device management (think Kandji, Crowdstrike), identity management (think Okta, Google Workspace), hardware logistics (think laptop shipping, accessories lifecycle) and user lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding and user changes) to automate manual process and reduce our touchpoints to solely those where the human interaction matters.

Senior IT Engineer

Performance Marketing

• Lead and grow the demand generation function, including hiring, developing, and setting clear expectations for a high-performing team.
• Own Ashby’s growth strategy as we scale our sales-led motion and introduce a PLG motion, this will include a healthy balance of scaling already sophisticated ABM, Outbound, OOH, automation motions, while building out our AEO, Paid, and other areas required to build a holistic demand gen motion.
• Build scalable programs across the US and EMEA, balancing global consistency with regional nuance.
• Partner deeply with Product, PMM, and Content to reduce funnel friction end-to-end: discovery, education, conversion, onboarding, lifecycle nudges, and retention moments.

Security Engineer

• I’m seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative, and creative leader to scale our security program and build out our security team.
• This leader will report directly to me.
• You’ll inherit a competent security program and scale this program through our next phase of high growth.
• This includes building the Security team from scratch (which means you’ll be a hands-on security generalist to start).
• By the end of the year, you’ll have defined our security strategy and roadmap, and added people (1-3 individuals), processes, and automation to scale yourself out of routine work.
• Collaborate with other departments to solve interesting security challenges concerning sensitive information and PII.
• Lead and grow a culture of security awareness among over 250 people today and more than 500 people by the end of the year.
