Software Engineer I

Manager

• Acting on behalf of Anthology as the primary sales interface for renewals with our partners and customers
• Working with the internal account management and sales teams to develop and deliver win/win proposals which incorporate product/service expansion opportunities
• Partnering with internal cross-functional team on pricing, quoting, and processing renewal contracts
• Managing portfolio for the respective business unit, with the aim of achieving 100% on-time renewals and increasing retention rates
• Collaborating with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to identify customer account health risks and proactively incorporating mitigation strategies as part of renewal activities
• Contributing to and assisting in executing the larger Anthology renewal strategy in alignment with Anthology’s corporate strategies
• Coordinating and providing regular updates on status and forecasts to business segment leader and other senior business leaders
• This role requires approximately 25% travel

• Work closely with the QA, CI, User Experience, and Product Management teams to solve technology challenges
• Deliver Anthology's new feature and original system releases
• Advocate for and implement engineering best practices across the team and organization
• Coordinate with other team leads on cross-team projects to ensure dependencies are identified, understood, and managed
• Work with AI technology to enhance development efficiency and create new features

Senior Manager, Software Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain features of the Ally product
• Communicate and partner cross-functionally with teams in product and software development
• Work on an ethical product, using Scala for the backend and JavaScript for the frontend
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to advancing engineering best practices on the team
• Run applications in the AWS cloud and use Git for version control

• Focus on Anthology Ally, a product that makes digital course content more accessible
• Create and maintain automation frameworks and testing tools
• Participate in daily stand-ups, design sessions, code reviews, and sprint demos
• Guide junior software testing engineers on best practices for manual and automated testing

Senior Software Engineer in Test

Product Designer

• Defining, evolving, expanding and driving adoption of our design system and design language including typography, colour, iconography, components and patterns
• Driving a governance framework to ensure the design system is used correctly
• Leading design projects, combining quant/qual research insights, rapid iteration, and testing to craft data informed, user centered solutions
• Taking broad, conceptual ideas and turning them into something useful, useable and valuable across mobile and web
• Prototyping, testing, and iterating. Jumping between ‘discovery’ mode (trying wild ideas and prototyping in whatever you are comfortable with) and ‘delivery’ mode (nailing the flow, interactions, motion and accessibility)
• Advocating for the user, valuing continuous discovery, and engaging with customers through research sessions, site visits, usability testing, focus groups and user conferences to inspire ideas and inform design decisions
• Addressing short-term design needs, and delivering value to users incrementally, while making strides towards the long-term vision
• Working collaboratively within product teams as a peer with product managers, developers and data scientists to bring your ideas to life, and contribute to the strategic product vision

Senior Product Designer – Design Systems

• Manage a strategic customer base and new customer acquisition in the Higher Education market
• Meet and exceed sales objectives in the assigned territory
• Promote and sell the suite of products and services through a consultative selling approach
• Develop and manage executive-level relationships with customers
• Conduct regular onsite customer business meetings and reviews
• Operationalize annual plans with the assistance of various teams

Regional Sales Manager

Accounts Receivable

• Preparing reports from Microsoft 365
• Investigating, analyzing, and resolving customer accounts located in the US and/or international
• Communicating discrepancies to management team, identifying slow-paying customers, and recommending collection candidates
• Following-up with customers to facilitate payments per contract terms and conditions
• Maintaining complete records on all accounts including detailed documentation on collection efforts and issue resolution
• Supporting other accounting and finance team members, sales and account managers

• Directly managing and supporting the Engineering team in delivering high quality, web-based applications in a timely manner

• Working cross-functionally with other leaders in the organization to identify and meet business priorities related to software development and the general IT needs of the company
