• Design, train, and deploy robust policies for locomotion, manipulation, and dynamic interactions with the environment.
• Develop core reinforcement learning infrastructure, including scalable training pipelines and evaluation frameworks.

Machine Learning Engineer

• Architect and build the foundational ML infrastructure layer on top of the core data platform to power fleet-scale humanoid robotics.
• Define a long-term vision for ML infrastructure aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
• Deliver a roadmap for development of a level 2 MLOps platform after consulting with researchers and perception engineers.
• Partner with data platform engineers to integrate ML workflow orchestration and tracking systems with existing data platform tooling.
• Design and implement ML development environments, including secure, scalable workspaces for interactive experimentation (JupyterHub etc.).
• Develop core infrastructure including a model registry, feature store, and experiment tracking tooling.
• Define CI/CD lifecycle for ML enabling continuous retraining, automated testing, and seamless model delivery to production.
• Drive adoption of MLOps best practices: reproducibility, lineage, rollback, monitoring, and governance.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence the cloud platform organization’s roadmap.
• Lead greenfield, zero-to-one efforts to define company-wide ML infrastructure.

DevOps Engineer

• Design & implement core features and products to accelerate our software development lifecycle across the entire company.
• Create and build new tools to support adjacent teams as part of the build & release engineering group to simplify the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with robot software, cloud software, devops, software quality & test, and product for developing new tools and products.
• Design and implement software solutions for deploying software to robots and other edge devices.
• Support and improve our robot software build system (bazel).
• Develop tools to support development and test teams.
• Build and implement new and improved tooling for automated release processes.
• Take ownership of existing CI & Build systems and improve them for a scaling organization.
• Enable multiple layers of automated testing including accelerated compute.

• Lead cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and delivery of robotics software programs
• Develop and manage program roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
• Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to understand technical challenges, prioritize development tasks, and ensure successful implementation.
• Partner with stakeholders, including hardware and product teams, to define program requirements and success metrics, translating high-level objectives into actionable plans.
• Facilitate trade-off discussions between technical feasibility, business needs, and delivery timelines.
• Establish and maintain metrics to track program health, performance, and resource allocation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for software program updates, effectively communicating progress, risks, and decisions to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
