Engineering Manager

• Lead a team of engineers and managers with empathy while fostering a high-performance, ownership-driven & inclusive culture to develop frameworks, systems, and tools for new Affirm products.

Senior Manager, Software Engineering – Lake Analytics Platform

Manager

• Lead and evolve our Leadership Development practice to ensure we’re providing “the right learning at the right time” for our different levels of leadership, elevating capabilities that drive high performance teams.
• You will be the driving force, in partnership with the Director of Learning + Development, in crafting a leadership development strategy for new and experienced managers and leaders, in addition to broad-stroke learning programming for all employees.
• Evolve our manager development programming in our remote first environment, recognizing people come first. You’ll analyze the current program scope and design, perform an ongoing needs assessment to help guide the evolution, and be the lead curriculum designer and facilitator.
• Partner cross-functionally across the People Team, and ultimately the entire organization to drive future programming and learning opportunities. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive backbook risk framework, covering delinquency, roll rates, collections performance, hardship cases, and vulnerability indicators to ensure robust risk monitoring and early detection of emerging risks.

• Proactively explore data and identify opportunities to help accelerate product development or improve existing products in Trust and Safety, and drive the analytical work of online experiment to optimize the existing strategies to achieve better conversion rate.
• Translate analysis and trends into recommendations for business logic to improve identity and fraud conversion rates or fraud rates
• Develop scalable frameworks to manage tiered cutoffs for proprietary fraud machine learning models
