Service Technician – Water Treatment Systems Installer

Sales

• Work with the National Sales Channel Manager to understand initiatives and develop a plan of action that supports the goals of the territory
• Develop a strong understanding of Water-Right, Master Water Conditioning and AO Pro products and applications
• Call on users and prospective users of water treatment products to influence the purchases of A. O. Smith Water Treatment’s equipment and services
• Support existing customers and attract new prospects with on-site technical and resource trainings
• Attend and support industry and customer events in your assigned region
• Meet sales and expense objectives outlined in the annual budget
• Assist with properly applying and trouble-shooting water treatment solutions and provide in-field support when needed
• Take part in monthly reviews and planning sessions to gauge progress, overcome challenges and review opportunities
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer issues in a timely manner

Water Treatment Regional Sales Manager

Controller

• Manage all accounting processes for two locations and ensure month end close processes are completed timely and in adherence with generally accepted accounting procedures (GAAP)
• Lead forecasting and strategic/annual plan process for Wholesale sales channel and cost centers, including review and submission of forecast and annual operating plan into our consolidating system.
• Reviews capital assets and operating budgets, checks appropriation requests against approved budgets for availability of funds prior to commitment;
• Responsible for driving projects to help improve performance and to create accounting processes and accounting controls in a dynamic business environment as the business expands and new business processes are created
• Work with the Purchasing, Production and Warehouse team on inventory related issues
• Responsible to maintain accurate cost data within the ERP system
• Interpret the financial data to make appropriate recommendations to management about financial matters.
• Evaluate financial processes and controls; integrate into the AO Smith controls framework.
• Continually evaluate the departmental functions, practices, and controls to identify opportunity for improvement.
• Ensure consistent, reliable, and timely information is distributed to all financial statement users.
• Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of all accounting policies, financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with other departments to correct and improve procedures to reflect accurate manufactured products cost.

Controller I

• Constructs high quality custom commercial water heaters, boilers, and pool heaters.
• Assembles such items as fans, gas trains, sheet metal parts, heat exchangers and other assemblies.
• Verifies the information on the work order header is correct such as BOM part numbers, quantities, and consuming locations.
• Follows procedures to see that info gets corrected.
• Completes assembly of the components per the instructions, drawing and quality standards.
• Inspects components for fit, form and function per defined procedures.
• Using a variety of hand tools, assembles outer casings, control housings, flanges, mounts piping, pumps and flow switches.
• Installs wiring, including the wiring of pumps, panels and other options, according to the work order.
• Crates completed units and attaches shipping labels.
