About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Pull materials to the assembly station for production
  • Return empty totes to the warehouse
  • Replenish warehouse with new stock, keeping oldest stock in front
  • Bring literature packagers to the workstations needed for production
  • Maintain organized, identified racks and staging areas
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding potential parts shortages or overages
  • Assist with removal of cardboard, pallets and trash
  • Assist with daily cycle counts and inventory control
  • Read work orders and production schedules to determine material needs
  • Ensure overall shop cleanliness and appearance
  • Perform Material Handler functions as needed including forklift operation and use of warehouse scanners
  • Be flexible to work in different areas and on different tasks
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as required
