• Shape, integrate, and execute First West’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and social impact agenda

ESG & Social Impact Manager

Compliance

• Key contributor to the production, completeness and accuracy of all regulatory reporting. Interprets rules and regulations, ensures that reporting follows guidelines. Manages the internal and external credit reporting for the credit union.
• Researches and interprets accounting standards with respect to how they relate to regulatory reporting and works with senior finance management, to ensure regulatory reporting complies with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Maintains the regulatory control framework, researching new regulations or guidance. Documents overall process that ensures the integrity of regulatory reporting.
• Develops and implements new procedures to enhance workflow of the department; monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Maintains a network with peers at other credit unions, participating in committees and projects; attends board/Tru Cooperative Bank Leadership meetings as required; provides specialized educational briefings to all levels of the organization; and participates in organizational projects.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of regulatory guidance; maintains knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); researches and interprets accounting standards on specific issues, prepares position papers; advises on the implementation of new regulations or new accounting standards (IFRS); maintains a thorough understanding of accountabilities of regulatory reporting; and takes on these areas as required.

Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Full-stack Engineer

• Designs, develops, and maintains scalable web applications and robust APIs supporting the digital ecosystem
• Builds and maintains responsive front-end interfaces and scalable back-end systems using modern frameworks (e.g., .NET, React, Angular, Node.js, Python)
• Designs and implements secure, efficient RESTful and GraphQL APIs with robust documentation and performance

• Oversees the enterprise policy governance framework, including taxonomy, document hierarchy, and end-to-end lifecycle requirements.

Enterprise Policy & Knowledge Governance Manager

• Provides first-level response to routine HR inquiries or forwards to an appropriate HR expert
• Interprets and communicates HR policies and encourages the use of employee self-service to resolve inquiries

Security Analyst

• Provides Level 2/3 SOC triage and investigations on escalated security incidents to identify root cause and mitigate control gaps
• Escalates and leads major cyber security incident response
• Provides oversight and backup to the Level 1 SOC operations
• Included in on-call rotations and assists other team members with afterhours incident response and resolution if required
• Assists with the design, management and execution of cross-organization project plans that involve the cyber security team
• Collaborates with project work stream leads to ensure cyber and information technology security risks are identified, raised, and prioritized
