Human Resources Advisor – 10 Month FTC

• deliver best-in-class amplification for Telegraph events, from concept planning to ticket promotion and maximising reach for event content.
• Plan events which meet our criteria for delivering audience reach (primarily via off-platform content distribution e.g. social video clips), targeting an editorial focus area and appealing to a large audience of warm, non-paying readers.
• Work closely with Editorial on aligning event propositions with their current priorities, identifying suitable speakers (both internal and external) and liaising with them and formulating the event content.
• Own the full marketing lifecycle for each event: creating a marketing and amplification plan, promotion pre-event to generate ticket sales, venue branding, promotion during the event to maximise our livestream audience (where relevant) and post event content amplification.
• Work closely with the social, video and newsletter teams to deliver multi-channel marketing and amplification, prioritising reaching new audiences off platform and using a mix of formats.
• Own the ticketing process for each event: setting up an event article page on The Telegraph’s website, using SquadUP to create tickets, monitor ticket sales and manage all ticketing comms with attendees.
• Work with our in-house creative team from briefing through to asset delivery to ensure we have high quality, distinctive event assets which are consistent across channels and platforms.
• Work with our Insight and Analytics team to measure event impact according to our KPIs.
• Where applicable, use paid marketing budget to drive incremental reach and engagement, working with our media agency and creative team to select the most effective platforms, formats and audience targeting to maximise performance.
• Support more junior colleagues in the event team with stakeholder conversations, project management and logistics.

Senior Marketing Manager – Events

• As an HR Advisor, you’ll work closely with the HR Business Partner team, Head of Employee Relations and the HR Director as well as partner closely with the organisation, including the relevant business leaders supporting them in driving the Telegraph Media Group’s strategic goals.
• You’ll also work closely with the wider HR team including Talent & Performance, Talent Acquisition, Reward & Benefits and Engagement and Operations.
• You’ll form strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders, understanding their goals, needs and issues, with a view to providing people-focused and commercially-grounded advice.
• The role is varied and you’ll have the opportunity to cast your eye on a range of different areas and support the Senior HR Business Partner in: managing organisational design and change, resource planning, talent development, reward, recognition, employee relations, well-being, engagement and compliance.
• This is a fantastic fixed term opportunity where you will be serving as the first point of contact for general HR queries from Editorial, acting to triage and potentially escalate the day-to-day issues that arise.

Human Resources Adviser – 10 Month FTC

Operations

• Manage, prioritise, and resolve your own daily ticket queue using service desk tools, providing elite 2nd/3rd line support for corporate applications.
• Actively triage operational issues, resolving technical tickets efficiently and accurately escalating complex problems to senior engineers or vendors.
• Conduct daily system health checks, logging, and monitoring to proactively identify and flag potential infrastructure issues early.
• Assist senior team members with configuration changes, minor maintenance tasks, and policy applications across supported cloud systems.
• Utilise, validate, and help maintain the team’s internal technical knowledge base and user-facing documentation.

Data Engineer

• Build and maintain high quality solutions to serve ML models in various environments.

• The Senior Finance Business Partner (SFBP) acts as a senior source of professional expertise within the Editorial and Product finance team.
• Responsible for the execution of financial plans that support the newsroom and product development.
• Perform month-end tasks and management accounting activities while providing essential input into the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and 3/5-year strategic plans.
• Execute the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts for Editorial and Product.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure submissions are accurate, timely, and reflect operational requirements.
• Support the delivery of 3/5-year plans by providing detailed trend analysis, historical data reviews, and modeling assumptions for future headcount and operational spend.
• Monitor performance developments in your areas to develop constructive, commercial solutions that enhance business performance.
• Responsible for the delivery of specific month-end tasks, including the preparation and posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Perform detailed variance analysis of monthly results against budget and forecast, providing the "so what" behind the numbers.
